I've seen a few different posts about companions moving into the estate; but nothing about Fenris in particular.

Can he move in? If so, how is this achieved?

As far as I can tell he doesn't literally move in with you. You get a flirt option asking him to stay with you in act three but his home base is still his mansion and you won't see him hanging around your estate.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking too. I think when you ask him to stay with you...its more in the don't go anywhere sense.

The stupid thing is that I have the guide. And it says in the guide "after the night meeting at Hawke estate all you have left to do is ask Fenris to move in!"

Yeah the guide has proven to be... ineffective. Fenris does not move in. If he's supposed to, it's not implemented.

I love having the guide, but agree that it hasn't been as useful as it should be.

I was really freaked out. The guide says "ask him to move in", well after the night visit, he panics and takes off! WTF? I had to come on here to find out that everything was okay...I didn't know about the red ribbon thing.

Mmm it was bizarre indeed. I don't know. It makes me wonder if the guide's reason for being so inaccurate is because it includes a lot of missing features.
