Any theories ? Or if you don't think it's boring why is that?

Heres mine anyway.

1. A very nebulous goal quest. If I just need money why is that the only option ? It's not like the quest has any purpose beyond getting rich.
2. Lot's of pointless side quests
3. My companions stopped talking to me
4. Wave after wave of battles with no thought behind them except pour as many trash mobs into the areas as you can. Even if they just pop up in front of you, or jump from impossible heights.
5. No real connection with the character. The year that was spent getting into Kirkwall reduced to a time skip.

I didn't think it was boring! The plot was indeed very nebulous, but I was digging my companions a lot and loved all the miniplots of the side quests. Companions may not talk to you on your whim as much, but they talk WAY more in the actual storyline and react a lot more to quests, choices, etc. That was great for me! "Pointless" is up for debate. The Ninette quest, for example, starts out simple and fetchy: find my missing wife! And then in Act 2, lol, well! And I thought they were all well written and interesting and was having so much fun rping out solutions to the problems and watching Anders and Fenris scratch each other's eyes out, and then I was ready to go to the Deep Roads and was actually disappointed there weren't more quests to do.

I WILL ADMIT, I loved this game with all my heart and soul, but I'm NOT into waves of mobs. It made ie hard to strategize. Usually you pick a kill order, plan for when you know the battle is going to end. When you have no idea when they're going to stop, it just gets tiring.
