Have read in the guide that your dialogue choices will change how Hawke speaks, but is there anywhere in character screens that show what your personality is?
Personality shaping.

When you mouse over a chat selection the picture shows what your personality is.
Green/blue = Diplomatic
Purple = Sarcastic, clever
Red = Aggressive, Direct
Squiggly lines = Any matter of choice really
Star = Informational leverage (or something along those lines, I only really see this one after I've investigated and got extra info from people as leverage)
Swords = Start a fight
Heart = Romance option / Flirting
Broken heart = anti romance (after a while, Anders DOES realize you're just friends...thankfully.)
Uhm...I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

There is nothing that shows what the personality is. But, in some dialogue you will be given an extra dialogue choice in the lower-left hand position. The option is dependent on your personality. If you are Aggressive, an aggressive option will show up, etc.

I went through two playthroughs, the noble rogue (pick all the top choices - nice guy) and the witty mage -all the middle choices. You get completely different dialogue when you talk to people, but there is no "official" personality screen.

I don't think there will be a personality screen as bioware wanted to move away from the GOOD/BAD character options like they had in mass effect - the number of personality marking conversation choices are probably secretly counted somewhere and effects what options you have in future.

Can anyone confirm whether the charm/funny choice leads to "special" options as well? I'm having a hard time choosing between the "good" and the "funny" choices and I'm worried that I won't have enough points in one of them to enable special options later...

You don't have to always pick the same color,if you use both good and funny you'll still get special optionsXongo wrote...
