You can check on the desk in your house to see which potions and poison recipes you have (by virtue of being able to craft it there). No need to go to Lady Elegant, Worthy, or Tomwise, when you can do it at your own house, but suit yourself.

The jury still seems to be out on the Supplier achievement/trophy; so i may wait a while before exhausting myself further with that related challenge.

Edit: Hooray! Got the supplier achievement last night. Finally! In retrospect, I think in my other playthroughs, there's a good chance that I probably just missed something each time. Only one achievement left on my list - to get rivalry with someone. At least I saved a relatively easy one for last.

it would be helpful if we could see a log of what we acquire as we go along....and able to identify that one ingredient out of 66 that is missing...

In Hawke's mansion by the fireplace, you can access rune-crafting, posion-making and potion making. Each screen will list the total resources found (as a fraction out of the total available) that are used for each crafting set. Check all 3 to see which you are missing. You only get the mansion in act 2, but I think crafting is possibly available in Hawke's house. If not visit the relevant people in act 1 to unlock the crafts (potion lady in lowtown, posion guy in darktown and rune dwarf in hightown). As for the exact (for example) elfroot, there are guides online that locate them and give you sub-totals to meet for each act, but other than that you're on your own.
Anyway, I just wanted to once again raise this bugged acheivement. I think it has been forgotten about. I've found all 66 resources on at least one playthrough, without using the black emporium and the acheievement has still failed to pop...it's the last one I need to 100% this game too...

I totally agree, and have voiced it in other threads. We need a running total on quests that require a certain number of something. For instance, The Lost Swords quest - it would be great to know how many Qunari swords had been found, and how many had been turned in. In Anders' Act 3 Justice quest, it would be nice to know how many Drakestone and Sela Petrae deposits had been found. In Sketchy on the Details, it would be nice to know how many gangs there were, and how many had been defeated. Etc., etc., etc.
Another thing I've often thought is, why is there no plot inventory list? I really miss that from DAO.
Sorry, tangent. I hope you all are able to get your achievement!

I will be using the detailed Wiki list and doing a playthrough that is devoted to collecting the 66.
It is still not clear from posts in this forum if this Achievement/Trophy is still glitched --
or if it is only glitched on one console... or....what. Some have it, some don't.

No purchases at the Black Emporium.
The achievement popped in Pride's End (Felandaris) with Merrill. Oddly enough she gave me
a Rivalry +15 rating at the end, though I had done everything possible to please her!
(I sometimes think that Varric is the only "normal" companion in the game, although Aveline is not too temperamental. All the rest have "issues",)
Now I have all 1250 achievement points and can take a rest.
Thanks for the assistance in these forums.

I have a pre-order of Deus Ex: Human Revolution (next Tuesday) and I still have a wavering interest in Portal 2 (a game I feel i ought to support even if I don't excel in playing it).

I LOVED Portal 2. The single-player campaign does feel relatively short, but it's brilliant. The co-op is outstanding.

As this forum is headed "Glitchy at best" i was never sure, after all my efforts, that the achievement would unlock. I made sure that, just before the end of each Act, that I had everything i should have before advancing.

The trick was that the spindle weed is only there on the daylight portion of the map. If you go there at night there are rocks instead and I (think) that is where one of the Kanari swords was.
Figured I'd mention that in-case it helps anyone.

I believe that's the same one I was apparently missing in every single playthrough until the very last one, when I actually got the achievement. Silly, huh?

I got all of the crafting resources on one playthrough, but had purchased some in the Black Emporium. On another playthough (one meant specifically for achievement hunting) I didn't get Isabela's friendship high enough and now am screwed out of getting Ambrosia because of it. I even tried to use my earlier save files to up her friendship manually using a save file hacker I found, but all it did was corrupt them, three times.
This is my final achievement left after nearly 200hrs of playtime, and I do NOT want to make a brand new playthough for one achievement. At the same time, I really want to add DAII to my "completed games" mantle. It's silly, but without that achievement I feel as though I haven't truly completed the game.
Has Bioware announced a fix with the latest patch? Are they still working on it? This oft-mentioned daylight spindleweed, is it in Act III so I could find it with one of my later savefiles, or do I really need to go all the way back to the beginning?
EDIT: I checked where that Spindleweed is, and I in fact already found it.
****.
