I'd like to know which of the two-handed swords do NOT look ridiculously huge (like they are from a kids game for something).

Can anyone post a link to screenshots for any of the NON-ridiculous swords (particularly the Act 3 ones)?

Are there any others that are at least that slender?

Sundering?
The Celebrant?
Limbtaker?
Widow's Fury?
Bassrath-Kata?

I know some of those might be axes, but I have no way of determining which is which at this point.

If I recall Sundering is a maul. I am unsure of the others.

So far, Her Song is the only one I've found that has such a shape. It has pretty decent stats too, so I did not look farther. Sorry I can't be of anymore help.

issue I have are the Axe heads in the game, they don't even remotely seem practical. As someone who wields axes(for fun, I don't go around chopping people up...yet). Those axe heads are just ridiculous.

What really irks me is that I can't even LOOK at these swords if I buy them on my current playthrough, since I'm a Rogue, and no one in my party has two-handed sword ability.

I just want to know what they look like before committing to playing through the entire story. Is that so much to ask, Bioware?

I have been using this a lot, it is the only 2H I have found that I like the look of and is quite powerful.
I hated the DLC Razors edge or whatever it was, looked so stupid right out of one of those Japanese type comics.
(Not trying to offend I don't have a problem with them there I just think they belong there)

I skipped one quest out of ALL the ones that I got in the entire game... I guess it was the Fenris one, but there was no way for me to know that at the time. So no, I can't see what these swords look like, and can't even equip them on Aveline because she doesn't have two-handed sword technique (even though she is a warrior and there is no logical reason why I shouldn't be able to have her just hold a sword for a few seconds). Lame.

 Heyo! This is a sword I got in act 3, from a Tal Vashoth Saarebas in the Wounded Coast I believe (as a world drop). I thought it was gorgeous personally, especially in comparison to many of the other goofy looking two-handers.


Stats are as follows:
Valo-Kas Iss
Greatsword
Silverite
37 physical damage (61 per second)
+44 health
+117 attack
Requires: Two-handed
Requires: 36 strength

Some of the weapons look good, I think. Yes, they are a bit too large, but that seems quite common in games.

But Hayden's Razor makes you wish, you would have never touched the demo.

Well thats weird, He refused to accept it as a gift and I ended up using it the rest of the game. Dont know how you got him to keep it. He was full rival for me. That may be why.

He kept it when I gave it to him.  Though the sword he had before was far better, thus he didn't use it.

Probably. I was romancing him too via the friendship path. Glad to know rivalry yet again makes a difference. Seriously.

Yes. The Sword of Mercy.

It's a gift that you give to Fenris, and during the dialog you can tell him that you want to keep it for yourself. He doesn't even mind that you keep it, I got friendship points for the dialog.

The Sword of Mercy was 38 phys damage, was it not?
