Dunno if I'd stop gaming but I won't buy or play as much as I do now. Most other kinds of game do not interest me.

Yep, that's how it is. For example, 1990-1999 is called the 90s

Lol. Tongue in cheek comment, since this decade just started, and there are at least two rpgs that will be better than it that will be released this year. (Me3, SKyrim)

Elder Scrolls is to an RPG as Grand Theft Auto is to a racing game.
Take core gameplay.
Add a useless boring landscape filled with distractions from the core gameplay around it.
Rest easy with the fact that a lot of players can't make the distinction between 'depth' and 'breadth'.

New Vegas is better in many ways. For some reason i believe the new Elder Scrolls game would be better. At least if Bethesda will stop removing features and concentrate on making their world "breathing" it would.

It's a shame, I remember I bought Warcraft II based on their recommendation a long time ago and absolutely loved it. Preordered based on their DA2 review, and it's obvious that the review was garbage.aliasbatman wrote...

Kevin VanOrd of GameSpot reviewed the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 versions separately. The PC version was given a score of 9.5 out of 10, plus an 'Editor's Choice' award. The game was described as "that kind of game, so rich and involving that you are powerless to resist its wiles and whims, so touching and triumphant that your mind and heart will be moved... Few games are this ambitious, and even fewer can mold these ambitions into such a complete and entertaining experience. You might spend 50 or more hours on your first play-though, but there are so many paths to follow, so many details to uncover, and so many ways to customize your party that you'll want to play again as soon as you finish the first time."

to agree with a person i've played 3 " new age " rpg games.. and so far its .. not making me feel good to be a rpg gamer.. what was dragon age 2? i didn't see anything what made dragon origins my favourite game of all time. * aka mages with gaint swords and armor * if i had to rate this game its around 3-4/10 its ok.. but even the disappointment that was FF13 was better, it just seems to me they ripped everything from dragon age 1 and through flashy graphics and good combat.. but combat is not what rpgs are souly about, and merging it with a SHOOTER? rpg's with swords.. and a game with big guns.. don't really mix.. over all, i wish there was a return opition with this game. and i'll happily play dragon age origins.. 100 times, then play one game of dragon age 2
