Is it just me or does anyone else miss the epilogues? I wouldnt say this is a huge deal but it would have been nice to see all the little outcomes of choices I made like in DAO to be displayed - even if it were just a sentence or two. :innocent:

I was kinda miffed about the missing epilogue, but on hindsight I'm rather glad Bioware didn't do it. I'll sacrifice the sense of closure if it gives the writers the freedom to create better stories in the future rather than trying to come up with convoluted ones to accommodate for all the different outcomes.

The story doesn't fit with it eventually. It seems to be setting up a specific situation for DA3. With the various epilogues, it would become considerably more difficult to keep that citation intact.
Also, it's being told from the point of view of people who have no idea what your character went on to do, so an epilogue wouldn't make sense there either

That makes sense. If they were going to incorporate certain events in some DLC or DA3, it would be easier if we didnt know. Now I must wait impatiently....

And that is the point that makes it easy to bear. (:

I sided with the templars and my epilogue said I became a rallying point to the mages (what?) I couldn't figure that out. I figured the mages wouldn't be found of me, seeing as I just killed alot of them. Also I noticed it said the champion disapered with the Hero of ferelden... What if the hero was dead or busy being Queen/king?

I'm not sure about dead, but even if their king/queen, the Origins/Awakening Epilogues say that the Hero disappears years later.

I did miss those sliders, but it makes sense to exclude 'em for DA2. Varric has no idea what happened to Hawke and the others, after all.

I was okay with the ending. Hopefully in DA3 we get to travel across Thedas to get the team back together, or at least Hawke's sister or brother if we kept them alive (Bethany was the best mage).
