[XX55XX]

I just got the "Questioning Beliefs" conversation in Act III and talked with Anders. He mentioned "killing a little girl."

I might be very forgetful, but when did this happen in the game?

I wasn't a big fan of him in Awakening but I really hate him after playing DAII. Was it when he went on his first ramapge as an abomination in the pre-story? I recall he killed alot of wardens. I didn't see him kill any little girls in my play through. But I wouldn't put it past him.

Hum? In his personal quest on for the "Tranquil Solution", at the end he almost kills the girl he was trying to save, but I think you're given a dialogue wheel, and whatever I chose stopped him. I guess there are versions where he just kills her? You would have seen it, though.

I'm confused, too. She wasn't THAT little. But I remember him talking about almost killing a girl in one of my convos, and I knew that's the one he was talking about.

There's a quest involving a mage girl that get cornered by some templars. The templars die, but Justice is still in control of Anders and he acts like he is going to kill the mage girl. You have the option to stop him (I did) I assume if your response was indifferent that he kills her.

i dont think there were any children in DA2 come to think of it. there was another quest where elf children were being taken hostage by a mage who was possessed, and the "girl" actually looked like an adult woman.

I can recall seeing a few children. I think all of them were boys, though.

He's dedicating his life to healing the sick and the infirm when he's in Kirkwall, and I thought he was a great character who wanted to free his people. I recall the short story you mentioned. You left out that in the short story, he killed a Warden who was a Chantry spy (and had other Wardens with him who evidently sided with him) in self-defense. Also, Anders never killed any little girls in DA2.

The mage in the quest wasn't a little girl, she was a woman. Anders has remorse over what he nearly did to her and questions if he should even be healing people because of his loss of control over the Spirit of Justice when you speak to him at the clinic.

I didn't mention a specific quest. I was doing a random sidequest in the wounded coast and that conversation popped up. Varric clearly mentioned a kid.

I got that conversation too, but I thought they were referring to the mage girl from the quest - Ella?  Bethany's friend, the one who writes you a letter (assuming you kept Anders from killing her, anyway).

As a side note, no game will show a child being killed in NA as its against the law.
