Only follow through I saw was a few cameos that didn't really lead to much of anything. Except House Harrowmounts last member being ambushed by carta thugs one play through.

If your Alistair is king and your Warden still lives, there's mention of the Hero of Ferelden during the Alistiar cameo. It's implied that your Warden's still adventuring around. So it does acknowledge the fact that your Warden didn't go with Morrigan through the mirror and was active at least seven years after the Blight.
Allistar didn't say that , atleast not from that I recall. I recall he told his uncle that the hero of Fereden has a name use it and that's it. Then Leliana and the seeker at the end of the game says he disappeared as does the Hawke.

As Teagan and Alistair depart, Teagan mentions "the Hero of Ferelden should be returning soon" and Alistair goes on that "you're always so formal, he has a name you know."
Obviously this only happens if Alistair's king, your warden's alive and he didn't go with Morrigan through the Eluvian. If those conditions are met then it seems that your warden's active and hasn't gone missing yet at least seven years after DAO.

The game told me I disappeared like the Warden and I didn't even play through witch hunt...
I thought this was a standard ending for the slide show in the Awakening expansion; that is, your Warden eventually decides to disappear for no known reason.

Then when does Witch hunt take place because I went through the Eluvian with Morrigan at the end of witch hunt.

Two and a half years after the end of DAO.

Uh... the very beginning is the only part that DAO and DA2 coincide. DA2 spans over ten years, Act 1 is one year later, Act 2 is four years later and Act Three is seven years later. When Varric is telling the story, it's actually three years after the final boss fight so that totals ten years. So when Alistair shows up in Act 3, it's been seven years since the Blight, which means the Warden if you didn't make the ultimate sacrifice or go through the Eluvian, doesn't go missing until at least seven years later.
I'm not completely certain how you can miss it when ALL of the characters mentions how many years have passed and when Varric's narrating he SPECIFICALLY mentions how many years has passed. I get the feeling that I'm being trolled
