I've done the first two tasks which is to get the dragon fang and the spiders silk gland but I cannot find where the pure ironbark is.

If you talk to umm... Ilen(?), the Dalish merchant in Sundermount, he'll talk about the Ironbark and he'll mark it down on your minimap. If you zone out of Sundermount and go onto the world map, the option to go to a new area where the ironbark pops up.
