In one conversation with Aveline, she mentions the -King- of Ferelden allowing repatriation to all the refugees...but my DAO ending had the Queen Anora...other mentions of Ferelden mentioned the queen, as it would but I think it was overlooked for this Aveline conversation?

Well Anora had to have remarried eventually to sire an heir. I suspect thats why they refered to him simply as the King if the warden or alistar do not take the throne we don't know who the king is. Don't forget the story takes place in part years after the blight. She has to have a son in that time to pass the throne of feraldin to.

But only, what 6 years would have passed...just seems strange Anora would give rule to a 6 year old, OR to her husband. Figured she'd still want to keep authority.

Probably just a continuity mistake. I experienced several in my game, like Nathaniel saying my Warden spared the Architect even though I didn't. Hopefully such things will be patched.
