It would be fun if i met my warden in DA:III. I think he would be an ass or a ladiesmen.

Oh, it's more than likely foreshadowing to DA3, for sure. The Order is collecting heroes, after all.

If we saw the Warden again, they would need a voice. Who would voice them? Considering the voice in-combat choices in DA:O (wise, mystical, ect..) would we just have one vanilla voice? Hmm...

Have the Warden be voiced by whatever voice set you chose for him in Origins. Simple.

Having 2(genders)*3(races)*6(voices)  = 36 voice actors for a protagonist would be really expensive.

In the long way home quest. Flemeth said morrigan was ready or did something. She is probably referring to the Blight ending. The Warden should ,and will hopefully be back

Flemeth actually said two interesting things. For once that Morrigan is neither her daughter nor enemy. And that she doesn't know what happened to the 'other' Flemeth. As in her memory is a different one to the one the Warden kills or not. So sorta clone thing.

All I can say is, they best let us play "our" Warden in DA3(if you let him die, then perhaps the Orlesian Warden or Flemeth raised you from the dead, etc..) & also Hawke, perhaps have it so you swap between the two or something.

I mainly just want to find out what happens after the witch hunt. Where did morrigan and the warden go together?

Also when you meet alistar in the campaign he says the hero of ferelden is ariving in denerim soon. So one must assume that the warden returns from whereever he went with morrigan.

Fine then, have everyone (even the women Posted Image) voiced by Zaeed's voice actor so we can all be "Big God Damn Heroes!" WOOT!

I think every one of those VAs did a different character as well.

First off, if your Warden died during the origins: then the one they are talking about is the new one that arrives at awakenings. Therefore this still is reasons enough we can let it pass.

Second, sadly Bioware won't be able to give voices to the original Warden due to the fact that everyone idea of the Warden is different. The one thing they can do is have him/her partner up with one of the origins characters as a "mute" companion. Having Morrigan/oghren or even Alistar talk for him/her will be the easy way out. Sadly however, any way bioware chooses to implement this would have severe lashbacks from fans.

Still will be intresting to see what is gonna happen.

Perhaps the Warden comes back mute? XD maybe side effects from that place in the mirror or where ever the other Wardens went off too.

I don't care if we ever see the warden again such as long as Alistair is heartbroken over hr loss.

<.< that would teach him for that "old ball and chain" comment. .

Zaeed is epic, if he came to Dragon Age Universe, Oghren & Zaeed would rule us all!

You know, I think she was referring to the Warden you meet during the Qunari attack.I don't remeber his name, but when you aks for his help he says that there is something more urgent he needs to do.

When you ask what could be more urgent, he says he can't tell but will spread the word of the Qunari attack through the Free Marches.

I interpreted it as them sweeping both characters under the same rug. They're off investigating the "True Sith".

I think the Warden/HoF issue is because of awakenings.
When the dialog ist result of an Origins imported flag they refer as HoF if it's caused by a Awakenings decision it's the Warden.

how about playing as the mute Warden again, with Hawkeye being the voiced companion(and a set personality or class according to your import?).

The problem with assuming that the Warden is dead for DA3 lies in that I think it was Awakening's epilogue SAYS the Warden would disappear again, but that their story was far from over. Alistair's cameo also confirms that the Hero of Fereldan should be back in Denerim by now, or if you're married to him as your warden, the ball and chain. So. The Warden is Canonically alive, and disappears at a later point. Also. Remember, ten years have passed -since Varric is telling the story-. Less time has passed at the point your Warden actually disappears. The tips in DAII specify that the 5th Blight lasted 1 year when our warden ended it. That's the year Hawke was in servitude. From the end of Origin to the actual disappearance is.. I think, by the math, only around 6 years, because isn't Varric telling the story around three years Hawke and the Warden disappeared thus making it a full decade from start to finish? I could be wrong on that. I'd have to go back and clarify when he says that Hawke officially disappeared.

Those worried about their love interests, I think one of the most awesome things they could do would be to have a smaller group of companions, but if our Warden or Hawke come back for a future game, one slot is their love interest. So for that game, Alistair goes "Screw it, Teagan, watch the throne, someone took my Queen and I'm going to find her." or Zevran tracks them down. Same with if we play Hawke, having Anders or Fenris show up would be awesome. Though my Warden would smack Anders upside the head and ask him what the hell he was thinking. And having our Warden meet Isabella again if she was your love interest may be... interesting considering the path most people took in the Pearl...

Honestly I was a tad bit upset that they tried to mention what happened to the warden in this game. DA:O had an ending, it told you what happened so why go back and retcon the entire thing just to fit into the kotor 2 type ending.

I'd dig it if your Warden was actually Mute and Morrigan had to speak for you, she could read your thoughts or intention or what have you, and you'd select your Line of Thought, but depending on your relationship with her from DAO it would effect what she would say.

So if you died and ran her off/killed her if you were making a "goody two shoes" response like "We'll help you" instead she'd make you sound like an ass.

Or if you loved her and travelled through the eluvian with her she'd / got Alistair/Loghain to do the dark ritual and you didn't kill her, she would translate your intent.

etc.

That would be kind of quirky and cool.

I wish they would have the Warden come back! Oh god I wish they do...
Something where Hawke and the Warden meets and does epic things for epic reasons which ends awesomely because they both rock...

I had an interesting conversation with Merrill about dead Warden. I've chosen the story where the Archdemon was slayed by a dalish without Morrigan's ritual. At some point Merrill says that she saw Warden in the city not so long ago and she also mentioned that there was no sense coz Warden had died long ago...
Yeah, I know it's just Merrill but still...

I don't really see where voicing the Warden would be difficult. You don't need 36 voice actors, you need 2. While it would be COOL if every race had a different voice actor, it really isn't needed; just use one voice for each gender, regardless of race.

As far as TONE of voice, well, DA2's dialogue trees address that issue. And "Warden can't have a voice now because he/she didn't before" doesn't hold water. Mario, Samus, Lara Croft, and numerous others all say hi.

I honestly doubt we'll see either Hawke or the Warden as PC's in the next game, though. I'm with those thinking that their active pieces of the puzzle are complete. If anything, the PC in the next game may very well be tasked with finding/rescuing them, and/or fixing the mess they made of the world.

Wait...Everyone got the same line? Here I was thinking I finally got a reference to Witch Hunt happenings where my warden disappeared by stepping through the Eluvian.
