So she still could have been referring to the Hero of Ferelden even if someone imported the ultimate sacrifice ending. It's not as dramatic as the idea of the living Warden Hero disappearing along with the Champion, though. 

As for why anyone would be checking the Hero of Ferelden's tomb to see if the body was there or not, who knows. 

I thought that was because (on my DAO save) my Warden left with Morrigan through the Eluvian mirror.

I am not sure if i want my warden to make a return however if he did I hope he isn't voiced over. I am ok with female Hawkes voice actor but the male one drives me up the wall. Last thing i want is to play a character I can't stand to hear speak.

IMO we have seen the last of the warden though I guess a lot depends on how much time passes between 2 and 3. The taint should be taking hold in another decade or so. And if they pull a Shepard 2.0 then i would not even bother playing that.

Like I said in another thread I think they should establish a canon for the events of Origins, Awakening, and the DLC. We cannot expect them to do save imports forever and tiptoeing around everything gets boring.

They could go the KOTOR root and have you answer a bunch of questions about your character in DA: III regarding what your Warden was like, then he might show up as a companion.

It'd be interesting to see how him an Hawke, two ego's used to always being in charge and feared or respected bounce of each other, especially since my Warden is far more morally dark and ruthless(And arguably more powerful) then Hawke

i'm pretty mad at the ending, only because my Warden is the Queen. i realllly want to know what they have planned for that. i hate cliffhangers, i just wanna know where the heck she went grrrr. so now of course theyre gonna have me stuck buying $8000000 worth of DLC

Every ending of Awakenings ends with the Warden (be they the Hero of Feralden or the Orleasian Warden) vanishing - Witch Hunt is just one possibly explanation. No matter how you end the game, eventually the Warden vanishes and "their tale is not yet finished."

Edit:  And didn't someone say in an interview that all the flags from the DA:O save are also carried into the DA2 save?
