It is quite obvious that Gears of Wars 3 will be the GOTY for 2011.Bioware mines as well take notes from the future GOTY and add more blood to ME 3.I would love to pop the head off a Batarian or a quarian and watch their head go flying off like the locust in Gears.Also Gears 2 enviornments were way more open than ME 2s corridors so Bioware should defintly take notes on how to make open enviornments from the beauty known as Gears.Lastly Multiplayer needs to be included to ensure a longer life span for ME 3.

Seriously, no. ME is primarily a single player experience and therefore that is where the dev time should be going. If they want to make multiplayer spin-offs, then I'm all for it.

People tell you that ME is a story of one man/woman. There's no "we" in this game. So, glad you like GoW, but ME is not that type of a game.

ME is not GoW. Multiplayer is just out of the question.
BTW, Epic screwed their own game with GoW2. It multiplayer was a complete mess, compared with GoW1 one of course.

Gears 2 was probably the most boring game I've ever played, and I tend to enjoy playing a shooter with a friend in co-op. IF BW is to include multiplayer of some kind I sure as hell hope they don't take notes from that dull crap.

If there is one thing that should be learned from Gears, it's the combat system. But ME2 obviously had that covered, and it will most likely be the case with ME3 with a few tweaks. That's about it. Everything else should be as far away as possible.

Nah Skyrim will totally get it. Thats a single player game! Multiplayer isnt needed in a game to make it lasting. ME3 should go the direction of Skyrim and bring back some missing rpg elements instead of heavily dumbing them down. Work on the inventory system and upgrade system again!
If it does that then Skyrim wont get it and ME3 will :happy:

Anyone who believes a game needs multiplayer to have a long life is just dull. Really. Ever heard of Morrowind? Modders working on that game are STILL trying to recreate the other provinces around its main landmass, and there is STILL a thriving mod community that are dedicated to improving its graphics and its gameplay. Multiplayer games only last as long as their servers are maintained and their players continue to play it; after that, you only have the singleplayer (which had better be good if you want people to continue playing it).

Gears if a great game series(one of my favs), and ME is a great game series(one of my favs aswell). Their both conpletely different games though. the only similar quality is their both TPS'. Mass Effect doesn't need to improve the shooting gameplay, cuz its pretty damn good in ME2. Thus, nothing Gearsy should be incorperated into ME3.
Although Dizzy would be a welcome addition to Mass Effect. SPACE REDNECK!!!!!

First of all GOW 3 will NOT be GOTY. And i dont want copetative mulitplayer! That would be awfull. Co-op campagin would be kick ass. Mass Effect 1 and 2 never won game of the year from IGN, Game Informer or the VGAS i feel that Mass effect 3 will win due to the fact that its the last in the series.

If you love GoW, why not just play GoW? It's not necessary for all games to be exactly alike, and frankly adding MP to ME3 would be an incredible waste of development time.
