How would multiplayer be implemented? Would you fight as your shepard against another persons shepard? or generic alien 1 vs. generic alien 2 (teams, of course)? It does not fit with Shepards story. 

Not only that, but I believe that Bioware has stated that they will never put multiplayer in ME3. So this is... 

ENTIRELY POINTLESS.

I am dead serious.I love Gears to death so why wouldnt I want ME 3 to take notes from my favorite game on the citadel.But i see the term troll is popular down here so go ahead and call me what ever just dont get mad like those whiny DA 2 fans when EA has Bioware put multiplayer into ME 3.

Gears of War is a mindless cover based shooter, mass effect is a action role playing game.

Also gears of war 3 will **** off, the game of the year will be mostly be skyrim vs. mass effect 3

I think you meant call of duty because there aint nothing mindless about Gears.The enviorments in Gears 2 trump ME 2s shallow enviorments.Imagine how Gears 3 is gonna be.Try gears before popping off at the mouth and calling it wack.

Meh, true. By using guns for combat and third person for perspective however Bioware attracted a ton of TPS players who then complained about the game being not shootery enough. Then they kicked half the RPG elements out in ME2 in favor of making the combat better. Appearently some people aree still not sattisfied and want it to turn into GoW completely.

Imagine the ME series as RPGs slowly indoctrinated by People who lose attention when they see clouds or shiny objects if there aren't explosions and bloodfountains on the screen every 5 seconds Reapers.

I have been here over half year in this forum and I'm pretty active here. I have seen handfull people making comments that they actually want game go that direction where you point. Most of us who liked ME2 are fine with it and even want more RPG customation in ME3. I mean, I have seen more people claim that others say what you say than actually seeing people saying it.

NO. every each game has different style. that's your wish. it's not gonna happen. GOW is different type of game, and nothing to do with RPG & action game at all. it's FPS. what do you think? you played too many games, felt confused? don't even compare with that console garbage game. it's only good for console not for PC. do you know how GOW PC version makes me headache from installation to play? you have no idea. it's just pain in my ass.

GOW has really good mechanics that improve the gun fight experience. ME 2 is far away to be a perfect shooter and has ton of things to learn from other games. I'm not talking about executions or stuff like that but things like the reload system, cover system and more...

People dont be dumb...ME2 cover and fighting elements definitely need at least SOME adjustment....countless times in ME2 i would switch weapons or powers and would hope my Shepard wouldnt pop out of cover...the hyperbole on this site is something else...for all its faults, GeOW had pretty good fighting mechanics...looking at it and adding some of those aspects to the fighting experience in ME3 would be great...thts not to say that is the ONLY thing we want...we also want so many other things I wont bother to list (cuz heck who could even agree on it) BUT we want ALL aspects where improvement is needed to be improved...not just one of the other

So yeah, in summary, improving the cover/fighting to be more like GeOW is not a bad thing, as long as it is one aspect of the game among many that is improved

I wouldn't mind that. I'm a huge fan of Gears of War and Gears of War 3 is looking great. =3

As for MP, I believe it could work, but if it's going to be something tacked on then I'd rather not have it.
