In light of the fact that there is a favorite party member topic, I thought it only made sense to make an opposite topic. I'm well aware that their probably has already been a topic like this, so don't get too uset with me

I have to say my least favorite character is Carver, he's such an obnoxious ass. Always ****ing about how Hawke is better than him, it get's annoying. I have to admit though, I was sad to see him die, he was my little brother after all, haha.

I was also expecting to hate Varric, because I found Oghren to be such an obnoxious pig, but he's actually pretty cool. I was just being a straight up speciest (predjudice against other species).

Anders. Ceaseless complaining about the plight of the mages grated on me. And then after everything he did, I had to keep him around because he was my only healer.

Carver - To extreme in every situation and can never live down the fact he is the younger brother living in the champions shadow. Such a tool.

Fenris - If this 'tough guy,' whined any louder about mages I think he'd secretly have an envy for them if it wasn't already known that in fact he's a victim of ONE mage.

Isabella - Has to be the easy chick to get in the sack next to morrigan with all the mommy and daddy issues to boot.

Everyone else is okay in my book.

Also not big on Carver. I find myself really disappointed with Anders. He was my favourite from DA:O, and he's just the complete opposite of that in DA2. Isabella's one-track mind gets old, too.

That said, as a whole, I like them far more than the DA:O band.

I developed impressions about companions in my first playthrough that are... changing in my second, due to my first character being predominantly 'blue choice' conversation-wise, while my current one is the snarky 'purple' type, which makes things play out differently with companions. My snarky gal is enjoying Isabela more than my diplomat did, for instance.

It doesn't totally change the companions, of course. Fenris is still going to brood and snipe at mages, Anders is still going to snipe at templars, but their interactions and responses can change and that's making more of an impact on me than I expected.

Easier for me to pick faves than the opposite. I think I love Varric the most!

Fenris, I'm not a homophobe. But me going to his house and watching him pour me drinks then hitting on me after just said whats up rubbed me the wrong way.
And his constant lecturing of him telling me what I should do is annoying.

Isabella. Honestly I knew that (as Aveline calls her) '**** ****' would screw me and my party over - she walks in and out of the party/my mansion like she owns the joint and her cowardice is responsible for the horrors that happen in Kirkwall at the end of act 2. And when she has the upper hand against the guy who's been chasing after her, she lets him off for a ship. No integrity, what a tramp. I should have let Arishok take her out of my sight forever

i realy want to like Andders because he was so cool in Awakenings but he carver and Fenris are just too whinny

TBH non of them really stand out as much as Alistair and Morrigan. Maybe its cus those two had such good banter which added to their relationship and thus the characters in my eyes.

So far Aveline and Varric would be my fave characters, but they still don't feel as prominent as Al and Morrigan.

I hope we can help Aveline go all the way to the top of the Guards, helped her get the Captain position. What I want is that we get her to the top Guard Commander spot and she is instrumental in transferring power from the Templars back to the Viscount and the Guardsmen.

I didn't like Merrill, oddly enough. She was cute but all over the place personality wise. That, and apparently she forgot about everything that happened to Tamlen. She just urked me.

Fenris. I've have NEVER killed a Bioware companion, even in Baldur's Gate. But butchering this whining emo pig in DA2 was the high point of the game for me. I've never truly hated a companion before, even the ones I found annoying. ONE mage is nasty to him, so he hates ALL of them? Even though I disagree with the templars, I can at least see where they are coming from. Also, he looks like something out of a JRPG. He doesn't feel like a DA character, it feels like he stumbled in from another game. Reducing him to a stinking carcass in the last act was very satisfying. What a waste of a good voice actor.

Also Sebastian. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, traitor.

Most disapointing to me was Anders, went from hitting on statues of Andraste to hitting on bearded men.
He was my #1 party member in Awakenings to not even being used, nothing homophobic, just dont like how if you don't hit on him or let him hit on you, he becomes a rival. Too much of a change in character.

Tie between Carver and Isabela. No matter how nice I was to Carver he was always such a jerk. Isabela's character is just too typcial and overused, and I didn't like her sneaky, selfish ways.

I didn't like Isabela. She was such a skank and once when I went to visit Anders she was there... and another time when I went to visit Fenris! And she gave me that face when she left... not to mention hitting on me not five minutes after I met her. I wasn't lying when I told the Arishok that I would've hunted her down and killed her for betraying me, either. I didn't like her in DA:O either, though. So I guess that's expected.

Despite that, the party for this game was really awesome and for the most part I liked it just as much as I liked the party for the first game. I miss Alistair, Sten and Shale though.

I have to say Sebastian was my least favorite. Didn't seem like a funny bone in that guy. Everyone else is great. Varric can bring out the comedy in Fenris. But my most favorite combo is Aveline and Isabella in group together. The stuff they say to each other is none stop laughter.

Fenris. I never took him with me once. After the first conversation with him I didn't want Mr. Emo following me around.

Was mildly disappointed with the Merrill romance as well...she's not my least favorite but was just disappointed.

Probably Fenris. I just can't take him seriously whenever that theme pops up when in conversation with him. It's just far too silly. XD

Isabella as well I suppose. Though she double crossed me so your millage may vary on that one.

I have to admit I hate Anders personality. He's only in my party because he is the best healer...

He's also whining about mages that and templars that.

Carver, I really, really don't like him and it pains me that I get stuck with him if I play a mage, so much so that I'm having trouble playing as one.
It doesn't help that I played a warrior first though and ended up liking Bethany as much as I did.

Totally agree with this. In Awakenings Anders was effing hilarious with sir pounce-a-lot and all that, but here I just want him to go die in the deep roads. But WAIT!! Hes the only healer companion and playing one on my main is boring, so f@#k me, I have to use him in nightmare.
