Ok so ive seen alot of people on here saying when building your mage to choose between elemental and primal..but what about the spirit tree? is it comprable to the other 2? or would it be a waste to choose it? and if thats the case should you invest ANY points into it? and also is it wasteful to pick alittle from each tree or should you really just focus on one? cos arcane bolt seems to be a pretty good spell, and i loved walking bomb from the first one..so any ideas?

dispel is a must unless you wanna run around wild every time a blood mage pops.
walking bomb is much much better spell in terms of dmg.
I ditched primal for spirit/enthrophy and never looked back.

Spirit Bolt and Walking Bomb are my favorite spells. Spirit Bolt is cheap and effective, and when used right Walking Bomb is just a wrecker. Dispel is what it is, but Death Siphon is just a wast IMO. Good tree, but having to put points in Death Siphon hurts.

yeah, i loved the lastgame so much cos you could just get arcane bolt seperately from everything else...and yeah, death siphon is so effing pointless since it is ANOTHER sustainable that uses up alot of mana to begin with so your replenishing hardly anything...and plus with my "arcane warrior" i already have too many sustainables to add another one.(a pointless one at that)
