More of a bug report than anything else. Occurred on the final battle in the Nathan sidequest, Anders was in group and using Vengence. At the end of the battle, I noticed that Hawke's eye texture had swapped. It persisted even on other maps (went back to the mansion, etc). Going back to an earlier save fixed the problem.
It does look cool, though, imho.

THAT'S what it reminded me of, especially with that whole mideastern ensemble thing my Hawke has going.

I just got this bug as well. I went back to the save and noticed that the eyes only happened when I used the Elixer of Purity. I tried using it a couple times without Anders in the party (once in Deep Roads, another in the Estate) and I still got the eyes.
On the bright side, it does look pretty cool, and it's good that it doesn't show up in dialogue.
Edit:
Forgot to add that the eyes went away after the potion was used up. In retrospect, I really have no problems with the eye effect, except when it's outside of combat. Then it just looks really off.
