I've seen that magic purportedly does these things:

• Increases damage for mages
• Increases attack for mages
• Increases magic resistance by 1% per each point above 10.

Does damage just mean regular attack damage with a staff or does it also include damage/healing from spells? However, when I look at spells, such as Fireball or Heal, their damage/heal appears to be fixed at a certain amount. So what is the benefit then of increasing magic aside from meeting equipment requirements, especially if the mage is a healer/support mage.

Ok, I was just playing around with some stats and noticed that magic does increase spell damage. But I guess it is still less important to a healer/support mage.
