So, I have triggered the romance conversation with Anders; however, all he could reply was, "No."

He said because of Justice, he didn't want to hurt me... So I triggered that romance feedback and he just said..no.

So, what do I have to do to continue a romance with him? Is it impossible? Did I use the wrong romance humor response? It was the only one on the wheel of choices.

I completed the romance with him. I used all the "peaceful" responses with him after he blew up the Chantry. Then I reloaded and killed him. LOL...

There are 5 romance options counting the DLC char, Anders Merril Fenris and Issabella are bisexual. Sebastion is hetero only. Aveline has some romance options oddly enough though..

So, you never used the heart response? Just the top peace response?
How long did it take you? Because it seems like he doesn't want to talk anymore.
But then again, I'm only lvl 20 or so.

I'm only lvl 20 or so. Havent even went to the deep roads yet.
I just finished the mining quest to get half the business and the search for a missing wife.
I also just completed the search for missing Templars as well.

Ah, as far as I know, the Anders romance always triggers in Act 2 (after the deep roads.) Just keep flirting with him and after his personal quest in Act 2, choose the option "kiss me" to make it official. :]
