[DA Trap Star]

Is it just me, or does the activated ability not work like the description.
In the desription, I thought everytime she gets hit she would couteract who ever hits hers.
But she just sits there absorbing damage for like 5 seconds before she attacks.

Has anybody been able to find this ability useful?
