Ok, that sounds hilarious. I'll really have to romance Isabela at some point in one of my next playthroughs.

And I think Hawke's mother talks to you no matter who your LI is. She talked to me about Anders, anyway. That's another thing I really like about DA2. There's much more reaction to who you romance this time around. In Origins, I usually romanced Zevran because he was the only m/m option. A couple companions had banters about it, but for the most part it went unacknowledged. In DA2, just about everyone had something to say about Anders. I felt like they were noticing my life, like they were invested in it. That's a really great touch, and equally important to the actual deed scenes, IMO.

I wanted to clarify something about the Isabela one-night stand:

The third dagger is actually THE DAGGER HAWKE USES TO KILL PEOPLE.

When I was going after the one guy who held someone hostage in a cave, an option showed up for Hawke to stay where she was and she throws a dagger which has the exact same black blade and design.

I'm going to assume you are referring to the DA2 scene with Isabella?
My rundown doesn't have any DA2 romance scene references because I have not received any until nyao.
I was only speaking on DAO in which she/he meets her in the Pearl.

I've seen Isabella and Merril, as a guy, and both worked for me in different ways. Merrill is very sweet, I think I'll have a hard time romancing anyone else on any other playthroughs, she's just impossible not to love.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I just feel like a heel leaving her in her lonely house in the alienage all alone.

I thought the one romance scene I've did was very hot with hatemance'd Fenris. Big improvement over peeps hugging in the underwear beside the campfire - where everyone can totally see them! They don't even bother going inside a tent, it's beyond silly.

I just want to make sure when people are saying 'sex scene' it's not like the nekkid time back at camp in DA:O. With Anders it was just a kiss (hot!), pull down on bed, and then fade to black. Then fully dressed talking.

I thought the Anders/Lady Hawke scene was very well done. Doesn't surpass ME1 for (but I'm hugely biased as I love Kaidan more than any other LI...ever) me but way better than DA:O (sorry Alistair, those scenes were just awkward).

The Merrill love scene was great because she knew what she wanted, leading M!Hawke to bed and what not, but its the cuddling afterwards that is just great. Sweet and intimate all at once. Good times.

And the Isabela one-night stand was great, too, because of the "Murder Knife" removal.

I actually think the love scenes in DA2 are way better than the ones in DA:O.  They're sexy (especially Fenris's ).  Him being slammed against the wall by my male Hawke then kissed made me all giggly.  No lie.  As for the other sex scenes... Isabela's made me laugh, Merrill's is cute, and Anders's is absolutely adorable and sweet.
