Loved the game, the only bug i experienced was Nathanial saying my warden let the architect survive when she didn't.

I really don't want to do another awakenings playthrough, but I don't mind if its just a glitch.

Did anyone else experience this? I just dont want it to effect future plots etc

I'm just hoping the architect is non consequential. :P

Might be you loaded an origins save before you had done Awakening by acident?

It doesn't really matter though.

Did you have to have Nathanial in your party that went after the Mother in Awakening for this quest to trigger? In my three play throughs of Awakening, Nathanial survived but I never saw Delilah Howe in Act III in any of my 3 play throughs of DA2 based on those saved games.

Anyone else experience this?

*oops...didn't notice the necromancy*

I guess I'm lucky, as I've always gotten this quest to trigger without any trouble.

I've always brought Nathaniel along in Awakening, even during my rogue playthroughs. I just liked his character.

They've always mentioned in my playthroughs, that the architecht was killed. There doesn't seem to be any effect other than the one sentence on the subject.

I'm not sure if it matters, but I used a file after the final auto save in Awakening to import to GoA and Witch Hunt. My Witch Hunt save was used for DA2.

Yes, Nathaniel must be in the party that goes after the Mother to get this quest.

The dialogue with the Architect is also buggy. He may say the Architect is alive even though the Warden killed him.

Ah ok, thanks guys that explains why it never triggered for me. I usually had sigurn with me for rogue support on the trip to deal with the mother. I also used the final witch hunt save for my DA2 import except for one which I used a save before the final save by accident.

Yes I did cast resurection on this thread but it seemed better than starting a new one on essentially the same topic.

Anyway thanks for the replies this clears up the mystery for me. I only knew about the quest from the walk through on Game Banshee. It still seems very odd since in all cases he did survive as the keep survived the attack in all my play throughs and he was in the epilogue as being alive. It is only annoying because Varric gets his last piece for his armour upgrade from this quest. So he is always a bit short changed.

Again thanks for the replies.

This is due to an issue where DA2 "flags" anyone who wasn't in the party when the Mother was slain, as dead. As Anders+Justice make their appearance regardless, this only applies to Nathaniel.

Nothing from GoA or Witch Hunt seem to affect anything in DA2, so I'm sure an Awakening file could be used with no issues (final autosave ideal).

DA2 seems to check if Morigan survived the Witch Hunt DLC...I've seen something about her in the start of the game (where it lists what flags are set in the game about to start). I think it checks for the witchhunt outcome...but that is guesswork. Doesn't seem to affect the DA2 game though. I would imagine it carries over into DA 3...assuming they also import.

Well that is vastly annoying given Nathanial survived Awakening's assault on the Vigil in all cases but never went with me to the Mother...come to think on it I may never have taken Anders with me either...or possibly only once.

Thanks again.
