So whats the deal Bioware with the lack of getting it on with th dwarf?! Varric maybe 3 and a half feet tall but hes not bad looking and hes the only character who isn't a nob. I mean Sebastian is too religious, Fenrris is emo, Andres is crazy and I don't want to be a lesbian. So please please make a patch or exspansion that will allow me to make sweet love with the dwarf.

I was content with the bromance my Hawke shared with him. Even though she wasn't a "bro". Not everyone needs to be a LI, IMO.

Which actually kinda bothered me. Why is everyone bisexual, exactly? I mean, yay LBGT community and all, but it kinda cheapens the experience when I can flirt with everything that walks.

I like that everyone was bisexual. It gives me, as a queer gamer, a chance to pick whoever I want instead of constantly having to deal with heterosexual-only options.

Hey, I'm totally romancing Varric in my game. Not officialy or anything, but I'm constantly rewriting dialouge in my mind to make it so in my demented little world Varric and I are having an epic romance.

Nice to see lots of people enjoy Varric ^^ Mary Kirby did a great job... And imho I like very lighthearted-ish romances. Non of the guys do for me, but the girls are fine.

My dwarf in DA:O had no trouble romancing Morrigan, Leliana, Zevran, and Gheyna(Dalish elf in the wilds). Thus, I don't know why Varric couldn't be a romance option, aside from the possibility that very few would actually want to romance him. I'd romance him with my male mage just for the lulz.

I like to play female characters but also like to romance the ladies. I had installed mods that allowed my female character to romance Elanee in NWN2. Although I tend to play male characters more now that I am older, I am speculating that they added a bi-sexual option so that you at least had the option. 
   To me, it doesn't ruin the roleplaying experience at all. You can flirt with anything that walks, but you may choose not to.

well Bianca later on in the game has 4 "rune slots" wink wink nudge nudge

while the rest of the females only have 3 "rune slots"...

I'll admit it, any time his chest is in view during a cutscene I can't stop staring. But short npc's get no love.

As far as flirting with non-romanceable npc's, I only saw them with Aveline too, although when I romanced Anders there was a point when Varric was like, "Listen, I noticed you've been getting pretty close with Anders." and the sarcastic option was, "Are you jealous?" but I picked the noble options during that scene which basically led to Varric saying he wasn't sure if getting involved with a possessed mage was a good idea, and I told him "Trust me Varric, I know what I'm doing."
