Persons close to the camera are blurred - DX11

I have a really strange problem. When a character is close to the camera, his/her textures are blurred. This is approximately the distance of the 2-3rd closest zoom on Hawke. Characters farther away look sharp and good.

Anyone experiencing the same?

Settings:
Catalyst 11.4 defaults.
DX11 - everything enabled, Very High Texture pack installed, 4xAA, 16xAF

Hardware: 
AMD 6970
i5 2500K

That would be the Depth of Field effect in action.

This has to do with the Diffusion Depth of Field setting being enabled. I think it's intentional, though annoying that you can't see your own character at the closest zoom without them being blurred.

It's something that should be easy to fix in a patch, should they choose to do so.

Aha, will try and disable it then. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yeah, I can't believe this would be intentional. At least I can't think of a reason for blur to be used on close objects.
