I know this is a bit of a necro but figured it better than asking the query in a new topic.

I'm wondering if anyone has gone through the below scenario which am thinking of doing in a future playthrough.

Anora as queen, Alistair remaining as Warden with Female Warden who romanced him making the Ultimate Sacrifice after refusing to get Alistair to take part in the ritual.

Main reason I am curious is because I've read that in the epilogue slide I believe it mentions that Alistair quits the Wardens, so I am wondering whether he appears as one or a drunk or just doesn't appear at all. Anyone done this scenario yet who can confirm?

Saw this scenario with my dead Mahariel import. Alistair appears as a Warden and gives Hawke the amulet-"Here, maybe this might help? It belonged to the love of my life...and she doesn't need it anymore." Poor guy.

I'm not sure about the US but if the warden lives you're supposed to get this dialog which seems to have only one difference to the one posted above, not sure if fixes are still needed to get them though.

Unlike Grey Warden Alistair, King Alistair makes no reference to US dead romanced Warden [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sad.png[/smilie]

@LT123 poor Alistair

Does make me wonder then though, I think it would've made more sense for him to turn up as the 'Drunk' Alistair, with just a slight change in the dialogue. Though I guess he could've quit the Wardens later on I guess?
