I've been trying to go back through lore pieces in my post-campaign save to find all that I can on the Amells. I'm trying to work out their family tree (perhaps I'm a little too obsessive about lore?), and I can't really piece it together. I have several names but I'm hoping for clarification. This is what I'm thinking it is:
*All of this is assumed due to the lore note "The Amell Family"

Lord Aristide Amell, Hawke's great-grandfather and Leandra's grandfather.

His children would be...
- Damion, perhaps. Who partly ruined the family by smuggling.
- Fausten, I assume the father of Gamlen and Leandra? The note about reads something like, "Gamlen was the only one left after Fausten was sick." -- If that's the case, can we also know his wife's name?

I can't place Revka, but I believe she's Aristide's wife? The note mentions she had a mage child sent away to the Circle, so perhaps she is Warden Amell's mother? My only issue there would then be age, so she could also be Fausten's wife. Although then if he is the father of Gamlen and Leandra, then Warden Amell is their sibling and again... age?

- Gamlen, who had Charade illegitimately with Mara.
- Leandra, the mother of Bethany, Carver, and our Hawke and wife of Malcolm.

Obviously, I have some names but I'm not as certain where to place them. Any dev assistance that could be given to help sort this out (or any player who caught something I missed) would be welcome. If we're bound to figure more of it out through DLC or something, then by all means make me wait. However, I'd love to have a coherent tree established if it's at all possible!

Revka is the Amell Mage Warden's mother. When you chat to Leandra in Gamlen's home and ask about the family, she will mention it. She also says that Revka is her cousin. That makes Hawke and the Amell warden first cousins, once removed. It really was a nice touch finding out how those two are related, it's been on my mind for months now.

Sadly I can't help with the rest, but I will take a good look soon, as I'm quite into the Amell family...

Thank you, Ashaman! I'll have to look closely on my second playthrough. I didn't think to look until after the post-campaign save, so any conversations with Leandra were well out of the way. Here's hoping we can get a developer to fill in the gaps so that I can make a more complete tree!

It actually makes Hawke and the Human Mage Origin second cousins. The children of first cousins are second cousins.

This assumes that Leandra means "first cousin" when she says "cousin." Some fantasy trope cultures use "cousin" loosely.
