Currently finding hard to be a bit easy so I'm thinking of using the tactics menu to attempt to fully automate my NPCs' awesomeness - is this viable on Hard or Nightmare? Are there any tactics gurus that have posted vids on youtube or anything?

I'm playing on hard. I find that you can set the tactics and they will work for most battles. Some battles, however, will require a change in strategy. I find it useful to have a rogue or a fighter have "Enemy-->Lowest Health-->Attack" to reduce the enemy's attack strength ASAP.
