I have the Blood Dragon Armor and once I beat the game on my mage I'm going to create a two-hander warrior. Will the Blood Dragon Armor last me the whole playthrough, or is there anything better? If there is anything better, approximately how far in do you get it?
How good is the Blood Dragon Armor in comparison to other armors earned in game?

It will last you a few sets of armors but eventually will be replaced by many sets better. I'm happy about that seeing how I'm sick of seeing it ;p I only wore it because I felt like I was gimping my potential if I didn't. I believe you get better armor towards mid/end of Act 1. don't quote me on that

since it's spec'd at 20/20 (or something like that) it'll hold til Act 2 easily. Especially if you like the attrib. boost and the other bonuses. I find armour with better additions much nicer to use than just straight boosts to the actual armour rating.

Both the Blood Dragon Armor and the Ser Isaac Armor are minor upgrades to the armor you get when you complete the prologue. They're good enough that you'll switch to them immediately, but not so good that they'll last you the rest of the game. In fact, by the time you head into the Deep Roads, most of either set should be replaced.
