Whenever someone needs a killin' outside of combat, there's only one go-to character:

The Murder Knife



Returning from Dragon Age: Origins, Knife got a makeover much like the art styling in the rest of the game.  Nice, simple, generic, it allows any player class to kill a character cleanly in a cutscene without all hell breaking loose in an in-game fight scene.

It's there to help you or Aveline put Wesley out of his misery.

It's there again to help put your surviving sibling out of their misery should they catch the Blight.

It nearly ends up through your neck due to a blood mage thrall spell.

Whenever bloodletting needs to be done in a cutscene, the Murder Knife is there to do it.

It's official name is the "Murder Knife".  (Seriously, that's what it's wiki page is called.)

We should compile a list of Knife's appearances here, so the Wiki can be updated.

I like that other characters carry murder knives as well, example Isabella thoughtfully tosses hers aside during her romance scene w/ Hawke. How nice of her.
