I chose to play a mage

Bethany: stomped right at the start by an ogre

Carver: Went to the templars because I didnt take him on the exhibition but sided with me in the final battle

Fenris: Kept hating me as I supported the mages, until he realised meredith was loopy and sided with me

Merrill: Kept blabbing on about her silly blood mage mirror, I never did those quests, never had her in my party, she ended up fairly neutral and opted to stay as an extra in the final battles

Isabella: We totally got it on this one time, then she got cranky when Anders moved in. Annoyed that the artifact she was after was also what could have sated the qunari, I vowed to turn her in and she hoofed it. Never to be seen again.

Aveline: We became super best buddies, she stood by me the entire time

Varric: Same as Aveline

Anders: I sided with him for everything. He was totally my boyfriend I spared his life when he went all genocidal and we ran off together


All in all, pretty much everyone I had spared along the way sided with me or at least influenced things to go my way which, I think, made for a pretty easy breezy ending. An ending that left a big fat disappointing question mark :<

I handed Isabela to the Qunari without a fight because I didn't like being double-crossed.
I killed Anders for being a zealot... he deserved it.

Everybody else stuck around. Thankfully, I'd maxed out Fenris, Varric, and Aveline's friendship, so they had no real objection to me helping the mages. Oh, and Carver came back in the end, if that matters. It was awesome to have my dream team of Carver, Aveline, and Fenris!

Sent Fenris off (I didn't really expect this to be permanent, but I didn't really care either way). Bethany died. Sent Anders off, then killed him. Isabella abandonned me after I tried to reclaim the relic for the Arishok.

Carver and Fenris ended up dying.

Isabella never even showed up once. As far as I was concerned she wasn't even in the game. Only reason I would've known about her is from the demo.

Carver in the intro (!!!, maybe because I am a warrior or what ? wtf )
Bethany in the deep roads (Infected !!! Because I took her with me into the deep roads, also wtf)

isabella left me because I wouldnt give her the book to save her own ass (****), I killed anders because he betrayed me, and I killed fenris because I never used him and I diddnt care that he was enslaved by mages, I sided with he mages. and Ironically enough I almost lost the tank chick that I cant remember her name for some reason, and then I almost diddnt lose fenris. I can tell because when given the choice between mages and templars she said something along the lines of "i dont know if I can follow you on this one" and he said " what the templars have been doing is wrong" or something. and then when I chose the mages they inexplicably changed sides. it was wierd.

Killed Anders, killed Fenris when he attacked me, and Carver.

Was entertaining to have the exact same party setup for the final part I had for most of Act 1 (Me, Bethany, Varric and Isabela).

Well, Bethany went to the Circle, Isabela returned (I was in a romance with her and did not hand her over to the Arishok), I spared Anders and told him to help make things right and Fenris came back over to my side after I simply asked if it would be too much to ask that he died fighting alongside me. So really the only character I lost was Sebastian.

I guess my Hawke is kinda irresponsible when it comes to the world around her. Loyal to her companions and consequences be damned.

lol so that b isabella dissapeared with the book.
i spared anders so sebastian left, fenris turned on me and bethany was taken into the circle.
which means.... i was in the final battle... with a measly measly 5 people.

I didnt lose any of my party members and kept Carver alive.
Reading how many people lost party members here I'm a bit confused at the fact that you actually can.

About Isabela - if you romance her, she will come back for you after she ran off with the relic,
worried about having left you behind.

About Carver - didnt send him to the Deep Roads with me, he joined the Templars.
I fought the Templars on the mages side as a result keeping (insane?) Anders alive with me and due to a good relationship with Carver he didnt fight me and helped in the final battle.

Sided with mages and Anders, Sebastian left in a fit, swearing revenge, Fenris left and i killed him afterwards.

Only lost Sebastian when spared Anders, crazy mages ftw. Also romanced Isabela and in the end Varric said that while everyone else left Hawke she stayed with him.

Three. Bethany died in the Deep Roads. Isabella skipped out on me and so did Sebastian. Fenris almost did but I convinced him to come back to the dark side.

Anders: romance up until he went overboard with his crazyness. sent him away. he reappeared and this time let him come along to fight from the sidelines. i guess Anders stayed WITH HAWKE (?), which is okay since i want Hawke to keep Anders in check, no more trust.

Aveline: best friend. started out unsure, maybe side with templars, but at the end decided for sure to stay WITH HAWKE.

Bethany: stomped into the ground at start, never looked back. quite DEAD

Carver: this relationship was kinda nice. Absolute rivalry, made him join the grey wardens to survive, distant, then still angry i steal his thunder, and then finally "we're family we stick together". fled WITH HAWKE at the end.

Fenris: friend and Hawke was his confidante, but disagreed with most things. turned on me in the fade, abandoned me when i sided with mages, DIED when he confronted me at the end.

Isabela: The friend that's always around but everyone is sorta uncomfortable with. fled with the relic. on my "to give a stern talking to" list. seriously Isabela, give books to qunari, be safe among friends, no? idiot. she's GONE

Merril: that sweet and disturbing girl that i promised to look after. She probably liked me because i helped with her project because i was curious about eluvians. whoops. just like Anders wasn't in the final "run away" sequence, since she wasn't in the squad, but i'm guessing she's WITH HAWKE?

Sebastian: Some guy i help once in a while. kind of a bastard. whined about me not killing Anders and ran away swearing revenge or somesuch. GONE

Varric: drinking and adventuring buddy. WITH HAWKE ... except he wasn't in the frame story. huh.

Sam: a Mabari named after a succesful and unorthodox crimefighter who had a hyperactive sidekick called Max. he's probably WITH HAWKE... unless he's like my Wardens Mabari.... ser pounce-a-lot stick around, mabari doesnt. tsk.

grand total of 6 sided with Hawke (1 of them with a strained relationship now), 2 are dead, and 2 went their own way

Bethany got caught and sent to the mage tower, Isabella fled with her precious book, I stabbed Anders and Fenris died when he sided with the templars.

Bethany was killed in the beginning. Carver died in the Deep Roads. Isabella ran away and Anders was killed.

I have fired Anders... well in the last fight i have needed only one spiritual healer (me) but... damm bio add 2 healers in yours games... is hard kick your healer...

After draging his sorry choirboy-behind around to avenge his family and encouraging him to become prince again he leaves me because I won't kill my little kitty-lover-mage?

Only lost Sebastian and Isabela. Wanted to kill Anders, decided not to since those who died in the chantry would not have re-payed him eye for eye, tooth for tooth.

I know she double crossed you. But she came back! and a body like hers, who wouldn't want to protect her? In act 3 after you complete her mission, you get the option to fall in love with her. As much as she is a free spirted pirate, I'd hate to see that crush by handing her over to some brutes. Again her body is hawt.

Pretty much everyone sided with me at the end, kept Isabaela on both playthroughs. Didn't kill anders, so everyone was pretty much on my side.

Oh well, Carver died on the ogre; Isabella cameback with the book so i dueled to save her; I forgave Anders and made him help me solve that mess; As i've never done any quest to help Fenris since i got him, i suppose that's why he joined Knight Commander Meredith, and I ended up killing him.
