I got so sick of the Templars and Mages fighting, I'd just kill them both off if I could. "Mages are evil, they all use blood magic wah wah wah!" or "Templars treat us like slaves, they're corrupt!"
Hell, I don't even care about Bethany. I didn't see or use her for the majority of the game. Anders, well, he's a just a dick.
I would've just sided with neither if I could. "So what did the Champion of Kirkwall do during all this? He walked away and did absolutely nothing." *roll credits*
yes imad lol
Templars or Mages? ... How about neither. (Possible spoilers)

I do like me a good old "kill all the other players" option I do.

I wanted this, I chose the option in the showdown, but they are like noooo - you have to pick a side blablabla. Why can't I walk away or kill ALL? Wouldn't be worse... He was so cool, he solo killed all templars and mages and the world was a better place.

Yeah the end felt way too polarizing. Why let me RP as a greedy, charming rogue with no ties if I'll be forced to be passionate about defending one way of life over another in the last 30 minutes of the game?

Yeah I played as a greedy rogue and actually tried to not pick a side, I picked the mages because I felt obliged to because of Bethany.

I tried not to pick a side either. I wished that was a real option.

I was in the mindset that there needs to be a balance between Templars and the Circle. I didn't like not being able to come to that sort of solution, but at least the Mage ending seemed to have headed in that direction. I'm not sure about the Templar ending since I've only beat the game once so far.

idk about you, but in my Hawke's spoken dialogue, she sounded damn fed up with the whole foolishness and repeatedly said "we're only sided with the Templays right now because the alternative is mildly worse, FML." The game pretty much acknowledges both choices are awful and Hawke is being forced into a decision she doesn't want to make.
It might have just been my dominant personality, but she didn't seem pasionate at all, to me. She seemed exhausted.

Yeah I kind of wished I could've killed everyone too, was way too annoying to stand both sides. Let alone pick one. Ugh

I felt like I never really picked a side. I chose the mages and it ended with me standing there with a bunch of Templars doing nothing.

Ah, well that sounds acceptable, I'm only just starting the 2nd Act with my rogue, so I was just assuming based off of my 1st playthrough as a diplomatic mage-loving warrior. She seemed to act like it was a no brainer and I just assumed every character would do that once I made the choice.RosaAquafire wrote...
