The juggernaut armour as shown in the strategy video for Dragon Age is not the best armour in the game in my opinion, neither my warrior or Alistair used it. I did do the Brecilian forest as my second last treaty, so if I did it earlier the armour would have been useful for a while. Wade's Superior Dragon Armour was better in my opinion, because of the sweet fire resistance (fire being a very common element used) and stamina boost. The Blood Armour set was better than the Juggernaut set IMO, as the huge boost to hp and attributes beats the admittedly nice energy resistance of the Jugg. The armor bonus of the Blood Armour puts its base armour  to the same level as the Jugg set.

This is just pedantry, but Falon'Din's Reach is technically not the best bow in the game as advertised, it is the best bow that your pc can use. If you use Leliana as your sole archer, she can obtain a better bow 'Marjolaine's Recurve' by doing her companion quest. Marjolaine's Recurve is better tan Falon'Din's Reach in every way. It is restricted only to be used by Leliana though.

Blood Armour is definitively not better than Juggernaut. Juggernaut is better for Tanks, Legion armor is better, for, well, everything else.

Where do you get legion armour from if people don't mind me asking? Love juggernaut, got it on my main though will be going on Alistair once his strength is high enough. The blood armour being better is one of the reasons why I dislike it so much, it's essentially free uber armour that unbalances the game.

Legion armor is found in the Dead Trenches in Orzammar if I'm not mistaken. Its a really good set, looks cool and everything. Even has its own shield :]

The juggernaut armor set also provides state bonus in Strength and constitution. I checked in my game and the Juggernaut armor is definately better than the blood dragon armor in some respects (including Stat) and the legion of the dead armor. Plus, it just screams "Badass" at you.

But the best armor in terms of armor rating is the Dragon Plate armor. With the Honleath Helmet, you got yourself a badass set.

Hmmm... I found the Blood Dragon chest to be pretty good if I remember right. Then something else for hands and feet... and the Helm you can get when you get Shale (+2 all att., +3 Armor).I think that was the best setup I could find. So a bit of each. I think it was better than all the full sets by them self even with the set bonuses.

Blood dragon armor has awesome stats but awful looks. Looks>stats, tbh.

Not to mention the spirit resists on it. Something along the lines of 20% is nothing to to sneeze at when fighting the Arch Demon. I used it on my tank and loved the living crap out of it. Not only is it solid all around armor, it's stylish.
