Hi Guys,
Thanks for the amazing game, but I have a small problem.
Basically, running the game with the full iMac 27'' resolution is somewhat demanding for the game. I would like to lower the resolution BUT whenever I do, the game just scales...it doesn't re-adjust the computers resolution. No other games do that.
To be clear. Instead of getting "bigger pixels" the game scales down to the requested resolution but doesn't "grow" the pixels. So I get a super small game screen in the middle of a gigantic screen.
The demo didn't do that.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Resolution problem with iMac 27'' running Dragon age in Bootcamp.

If you are using an ATI graphic card, check your Scaling Options in CCC (Netbook Panel Properties > Attributes) and select Preserve Aspect Ratio to get a full screen display with correct aspect ratio.

Scaling options are ok. I don't understand. Magicka runs perfectly fine in a low resolution. Seems like it's a problem with Dragon Age 2. If I can't work it out i'll open a support ticket.

It seems like the graphics card scaling options don't work for this game. When I tried using a lower resolution on my Samsung monitor with an NVIDIA GTX 470 I had the same problem.
It was set to "Use NVIDIA scaling" in the driver. Changing it to "Use my display's built-in scaling" solved the problem. There may be a similar setting for your ATI card.

I do not have any issue with my ATI scaling in this game (native resolution 2560x1440, in-game resolution 1920x1080, scaling set to preserve aspect ratio -> game display fills the screen)xoxiin wrote...
