Varric states that everyone had left Hawke except for Isabela, even though I directly stated that I would go into hiding with Anders.  I even turned down Isabela when she had asked me to travel the world with her after her Act 3 quest via "What about Anders?"

Anyone else had this problem?  Or is this intentional? O.o

I have heard people also having this problem with Merrill, so it may be an Isabela-related glitch.

I had a fling with her on my mage Lady Hawke before getting with Anders.  I'll let you know if I get that glitch or not when I reach the end.

I don't think I noticed a single bug in origins

So, that explains it.

I had this problem too and it made me line face all over my ending when it said everyone left me except Isabela as opposed to Anders.

Origins was quite buggy. The Orzammar bug was particularly bad; I had to restart that playthrough when it happened to me, and it was my 3rd quest.

People forget because of all the patching, though.

I only romanced anders and at the end I ran away with him.

I only romances Anders, then at the end it said Sebastian was the one who stayed at my side. I had to do a double take on that one.

Mh? My first flirt was Merrill or isabela, if I recall right, but then it got seriously with Fenris. At the end varric said, they all had to leave, except Fenris (Does anyone like the name Leto better? I did :>)

Leto was a much hotter name then Fenris. Fenris sounds like a kind of mushroom

For me, it said I stayed with Anders. This would make sense considering I was only ever involved with Anders if not for the fact that I killed him. So I'm not sure what that's about. Did I keep his dead body with me or something? Silly glitches.

To update, I got the Isabela glitch on my Anders romance file as well.

I didn't have that problem thankfully... I would have been so confused.
I told Isabella the exact same thing too. Though my initial run through the game I didn't flirt too much with anyone but Anders so maybe that's why.

This happened to me, as well. I banged Isabella in the beginning, but I never saw her again after she stole the Qun. I ended up with Merrill, who I was with for over three years. We were even living together!

Hopefully the actual game data recognizes this, and the proper story will be carried over into the future if it is ever brought up again. Glad to know it wasn't just me, though!

This is the only really annoying thing for me in this game. I love the game, I utterly do, but the ending is as sloppy as the ending of DA:O was. There are definately linking problems for the epilogues.
I killed Fenris, and the epilogue said, he stayed at my side.
In DA:O Alistair was not willing to realise, he is no king, he kept saying he is in some scenes. (never patched either ) Some other decisions, such as freeing of the mages of Templars didn't go through either. (though I can at least accept that as a political chnge of mind, so there is a story reason behind it, or can be)

So I cross my fingers for this to be patched and then I am entirely content with the game.

I romanced Anders, but I killed him because his actions made me feel sick to the stomach. Varric said Isabela stayed at my side, which... well, I was okay with. I'd slept with her during Act 2 before getting involved with Anders, and was happy my Hawke wouldn't end up all alone.

Same thing here. I was supposed to run away with my tormented heart-breaking mage but alas, Isabela all over it. Well, let's hope for a future patch then.

You think that's bad? Apparently death wouldn't even stop our favorite apostate from staying by my side. I killed him in one playthrough, only to find out that apparently an arrow through the forehead wasn't as clear a break up signal as I thought. I still got the ending narration that Anders stayed with me, even though I killed him.

That's dedication.

I hooked up with Isabella casually during my first playthrough before running off with Anders at the end, and I got the same thing. Since Isabella had asked me to sail away with her at some point earlier in the game (and suggested I bring Anders along when I said I wouldn't leave him), I thought it was kind of amusing.

Isabela is default person to stay so if the romance did not complete, you get her.
Also... that's what you get for sleeping with Isabela, hahahaha. Maybe Anders left when he found out. LMAO

DA2 really had that rushed feeling, huh? There were so many bugs in this it wasn't funny.

The only bug I EVER noticed in 1.0 of Origins was the glitch that gave you mulitiple exp for the Wilds quest where you had to gather 3 vials of darkspawn blood.

I had this as well, but the subtitles got it right, though. They said Anders even when Varrick said Isabela.
