I didn't like Isabela all that much. Anyone else concur?

I mean I liked her as a character, but she just wasn't really my type, love interest wise.

I just wish I could have convinced her we could just kill the dude going after her, I mean, killing dudes that are after other dudes is half of what I do in the game!

Even Uncle Gamlen hit that. Do not want. Especially after she has sex with Zevran and decided not to shower. She is pretty funny though.
Okay, explain.
And I just checked myself, you can ask Isabela NOT to sleep with Zevran if you romance her, so that seems reasonable...barely.

If she is being romanced by Hawke, he/she shouldn't have to ask her not to sleep with Zev, she just shouldn't. Oh yeah, Morrigan grew as a person in DA:O, she and I were like sisters and she also saved my life.
I'm playing a mage and romancing Fenris, who HATES mages yet he's one of my most loyal companions.

I didnt really care for her but thought I would try to be more open-minded. I added her to my party to try and befriend her, she died a lot, so she was kicked to the side for someone else. My dislike for her really grew when I found out about the whole Qunari situation. Than after I put my life on the line, she runs... that's real character growth...didnt mind she never came back.

I really have to agree with the part wherein she shouldnt even ask/imply with Zevran, that little part was a real ball drop on Biowares. Given the Merrill bug, Im wondering if that bit of dialogue isnt supposed to be there at all.

EDIT: She gains a black corset over her blouse and black boots as her alternate outfit.

I would of loved Hawke to be able to pull a blade out on Zev, n threaten him haha I think Isabela's character would enjoy that
But I killed Zev in DAO, so I never got to see him or I missed where i could pick up his quest, still would of been funyn though

(But why wouldn't she just let me kill the dude after her? Half of what I did was killing dudes that were after dudes to save the dudes they were after!)

Back in the bad old days, somebody decided that the way to make the player like a character was to make sure that everyone in the game world treated that NPC like they were something special. I guess the rationale was that if this wonderful, special character liked the PC, the PC was something special, too. Shandra Jerro was probably the worst example of this. Everybody loved Shandra, and no one ever said anything rude to her or about her. She was special. When I heard about Isabela and saw the attention she was receiving from the promotion department, with the wallpaper and the trailer, and the hype, I figured that Isabela would be another Shandra. Instead, just about every character gets the better of Isabela at one point or another. Varric cuts her down pretty early, but the rest get their turn. My favorite was the chilly exchange between her and Anders when she sought treatment for a social disease in his clinic. No, she managed to avoid being a Sue. I am grateful.

I expected to hate her, even after playing the demo. If anything, the demo made me dread meeting her even more. I wound up not hating her, and even learned to appreciate her flamboyance. Part of that was because I never took her anywhere unless Varric went, too, and hearing them joke around was a lot of fun. Also, while she flirted up Merrill a bit, neither of the male love interests wanted anything to do with her. Had they reciprocated her flirtation, or even shown interest in it beyond apathy, she would have been destroying her liver in the Hanged Man all by her lonesome, but they both seemed to be totally indifferent to her.

I like how you turned what was essentially a STD into such a neutral term. Social Disease. I like that.

I love Isabela. My fav character in the game and probably one of my fav characters Bioware has done. She reminds me of a female Han Solo who likes sex, nothing wrong with that. Plus she is open and even admits her faults
I dont think anyone has an issue with the fact she LIKES sex, since around the forums I've noted a general distaste for her...lets say her partner list would require twelve screens running round the clock to compile.
