So, I beat the game on normal pretty fast ...  I was making another playthrough on nightmare.  I read that area of effect moves do collateral damage on nightmare, so i turned off all the party tactics.  The only problem is that the game seems to bug out whenever I try to give my companions commands manually.  

Here's an example:

Start of the fight, I tell my shieldy warrior to run in.
She's got a head start, so I pause to tell my mage to get into position and my rogue and the other warrior to run in behind. unpause.
pause. i switch to the warrior and use taunt, the mage to use fireball, the rogue to use miasmic flask, and the other warrior to attack something. unpause

Now, the mage casts fireball, but the warrior and the rogue stand around in the middle of nowhere doing nothing while the other two assignments are done.  Is this some option that I set wrong, or is this currently buggy?
