On the create a character, for example you see how with the toolset and mods how someone can do something as simple as make there characters eyes red? That should be able to be done just in the regular character creator, i guess what i am saying is i would like to see a more robust character creator, i LOVE to create characters:P

One last thing, being able to pull out the camera for a more strategic view for consoles ala the PC version would be nice:P

I second Hide Helmet and another row of quickslots please. And configurable keybinds for the quickslots.

Thats not expansion material however. I want that patched in, for free. With written apologies. ;)

You can maually expand the hotkeys bar already. Just drag the right side of the bar to the right, it goes as far as you have room depending on your resolution.

* System overhaul. I don't like the MMO-ness of the leveling/attribute/skill system. This should take a much stronger cue from D&D 3.5, as it doesn't make much sense that my warrior has increased his strength by 100% over the course of his first 13 levels, does it? Base attributes should be very customizable to start the game, but change very little over the course of it. More D&D 3.5 or before influence, less WoW influence.

* Combat... The lack of an "attack of opportunity" really hurts the tactics of the game. Tactics aren't just skills and spells utilized, it's positioning and flanking, lines, protecting high ground and keeping enemies off of mages. Bring back formations and add 2 character slots. Improve AI so the computer thinks about more than just swarming the greatest DPS.

* First Person option

* Open world. The map is nice to move the story along, but does little for immersion. I'll take a slower story that's more immersive, personally.

* Greater emphasis on community. Simplify the toolset for the novices, don't bother with a "community site" as the a game worthy of a community site will create their own.

* Ignore the complaints about DLCs and keep it going. I want this franchise to be as profitable as possibly, guaranteeing it's continuation and increasing it's likelihood of frequent releases. People will whine, but when they start to realize that a more profitable game = more expansions, more content, more sequels, more after-market support, they'll stop whining.

Dragon Age looks better than Mass Effect to me at least. Of course my PC is brand new(Intel Corei7, 1 gb mem video card, 3 gb ddr3 ram) and I played Mass Effect on the 360...but still.

 two bisexual characters.

Who??

Zevran and Leliana, though Zev's backstory is decidedly bisexual (he talks about having sex with both men and women) and Leilana has a lesbian backstory but is romanceable by both genders.

Frankly I think it would have been better to include them AS gay and lesbian characters, the bisexual thing seems a bit safe, like "well there not gay/lesbian unless you want them to be for your character."

tons and tons of more characters that can be party members...like 50 people, but keep the 4 at a time deal

Less linearity, more of a free roam open world is my biggest suggestion. Everything else is great.

Expanding the map with other regions/countries to adventure and explore would be nice.

Needs some mustard. I always have ketchup all over my face and body, it would be nice if Mustard was there as well. Perhaps Relish can be a DLC, or maybe even Chilli and Cheese.

But that would only leave one romance option for everyone. Allistair for hetro females and Morrigan for hetro boys.  Zevran and Leliana only for homosexuals.

I want more romance options... not less :D

I would love it to take place in Orlais, add a city human, elf servant and Quinrie origin, more class options, better grahpics and for the love of the maker make a new cast for the game.

I'd like it to take place in Orlais instead of the backwater country Ferelden. That would be a huge improvment imo. I'd also like more and better balanced classes.

Honestly I got better immersion no having my character speak the dialogue options, I hope they don't change that aspect of the game.

Granted "Can I get you a ladder, so you can get off my back?" got incredibly annoying.  Made me want to slap myself every time I said it lol.

Origins themed around factions and/or specialisations with a different party member available form each Origin i.e. Gorim for Nobles and so on.

Backgrounds

Rogues

-The Crows

-Orlesian Bard

-Ferelden Highwaymen

Warriors

-Blackstone Irregulars

-Legion of the Dead

-Bodyguard

Mage

-Witch of the Wild

-Dalish Keeper

-Maleficarum

Some backgrounds can have multiple races and some are obviously more strict in terms of race. I'd like to see Origins expanded at the very least, with a bit more choice i.e. Dalish Keeper would be fun to play as (huge levels of distrust and out right hostility from Chantry/Templars).

Specialisaitons to almost play out like Origins, bit more focus on certain aspects, namely expanded talents and specialisations. A Mage who bargains with Spirits and Demons for shapeshifting, Mages with access to some martial talents. Expanded martial talents for Warrior/Rogue not tied to a weapon i.e. Bull rush, trip, armour specialisation and maybe various stances they can be invested in and so on.

I'd certainly like to see some better specialisations for the Mage and Warrior, and apostates for PC please.

Rogues specs seem to be great on the most, aside some issues with Ranger pets.

Warrior specs were ok I guess nothing that thrilled me, and Mage specs were 50% yawn, 50% cheese.

And if yall do the romance thing again, please no more leather naff queen stereotypes, that was a touch OT.

-Less party members

-Less dialogue

-Awakening was too difficult, please lower the difficulty

-Don't allow choices to go over

-Don't allow DLC items to overlap into other DLC's

-Use Awakening dialogue system instead of camp

I agree with your first point with the opposite of your second: less party members if that means more dialogue with those you have.

Going by the ME choices thing, it's a waste of space bringing choices over since they end up having to have such trivial consequences.

I hope dragon age stays very rgp. There's so few good rpgs out there.

If origins is going to be advertised as a major thing in the next game too they should make it matter much more in the game. More comments from NPCs other than the occasional "oh look it's an elf/dwarf" and make it so that some quest are only possible to do with some origins or can be done in different ways - it would increase the replay value of the game a lot.

I think they really need to make the toolset USER FRIENDLY. If you look at NWN1, after the first year there were a huge number of modules available which were very high quality. In fact, the user generated content was actually far superior to the original single player campaign. In contrast, the DA toolset is downright unfriendly to anyone who doesn't have a programming background...
