Is there something I missed with Merrill. Something strang happened.
I'll start off by saying what i have done with Merrill.
During her Mirror Quest I didn't give her the item she needed to use on the Mirror. After that I romanced her and asked her to move in to be a couple.
After I defeated the Quarni, 3 Years later on the 7th year. I visit her house right away and shes crying in front of the mirror saying "There all gone, there dead"
Is this a Glitch because I know she is talking about her Clan. I know if you give her the item then you must fight the Clan. So does my game think I gave her the item or what? I dont want this to ruin my game.
Is there something I missed with Merrill. Something strang happened.

It's a quest glitch. This conversation is supposed to happen after you did her quest in Act III.

Well is this going to affect my game in the end saying that Merrill killed off her clan? I talked to her again and everything changed back as in she talks about the Clan being alive and she wonders if she should visit again.

No it won't. I completed the romance successfully with Merrill in spite of the glitch.

Is the crying scene a romance scene? Because I didn't even get that after doing her quest, we just killed her clan and that was the end of it.
I hope they put up a patch to fix these glitches soon.

Did it say you two ended up together in the end? And that mirror is bad news which is why I dont want it to change anything, not just Merrill but I think it does more.

That's another glitch. If you sleep with Isabela first but romance Merrill in the end, Varric will still mention you being with Isabela. If you romance Merrill and no one else, then Varric will talk about Merrill instead.

ya i made Isabela wear a football helmet because how hard i gave it to her.. but then went to Merrill and at the end Varric said i was with Isabela

Well I slept with Isabela when she visited my Estate but I reloaded so I don't think I would have a problem. But I did use one heart option on her in the first act before anyone else. Hope that doesnt ruining it.

This also happened to me, it gives out one hell of a spoiler, and breaks chronology, but your game, and romance, will be fine regardless. Just continue on as if nothing happened.

Good thing I haven't decided to sleep with Isabella. Anyone know when I get her personal quest to begin the romance? I'm on Act 2 and just finished Blackstone Correspondence or the quest with the Qunari gas.

I believe not long after you start the main Qunari quest line is when you get "To Catch a Thief" which is her Act 2 quest, so just stick with it. You also get another quest from her during Act 3, just complete both of those and always use the flirt options in your dialog with her and you shouldn't have any problems completing her romance.

Its good to hear the glitch is not a big deal I just had the same thing happen so I stopped playing to check for info about it(glad its not a huge problem)

Oh..so thats why warric says that in the end. I thought it was because I'd told isabella that Merril and I would join her on her ship one day. Guess it was just glitched.

I really, really hope that doesn't screw up your final save - I'm now assuming that I'll need to play through so that it doesn't assume I romanced Isabella.
ALso, did anybody get the issue where the Eluvian just "disappeared" from her house after the bugged Merrill crying scene at the start of act 3? Despite teh fact that she kept referrring to it?

Yes. Above is the 'fix' for it. That scene is supposed to be *after* Merrill's act 3 quest, not before. Hopefully it'll be in the first couple of patches.

You can do the quest but it still doesnt fix the Aftermath quest. You cant talk to Merril after all the fighting cause the game have already "completed" that quest.
