That's total you play, even the save says this. I thought this was suppose to span over 10 years, what happened to the last 3 years?
Let me guess, ya'll are going charge us for it in a DLC?

It does. The last 3 years is when your group of companions (except for isabella apparantly) split up etc, and so 10 years after the champion fled lothering is when the story is told.

I think the part with Varric and Cassandra is three years after the final battle, so technically it's a decade?
It's kind of odd how things keep happening exactly three years apart. If I was Hawke I'd turn into a hermit every third year from now on, just to be on the safe side.
