that the F'kin eluvian who forced my Dalish Elf Warden to become a Grey Warden ?!?

And... was it supposed to actually WORK ? Because I used it to find Morrigan ! Well according to merill it don't ! :o

and How did she transported it from The Southeastern part of Ferelden to Kirkwall without anyone to notice ! And when ? And who are the twisted basterds who agreed to ship a Dark Magic elven mirror from a Darkspawn filled Dalish ruin to an Elven Apostate on a ship !

Damn this Eluvian thing's Story is more Weird than the Origin of the Linkara's Magic Gun !  :o

There's more than one eluvian. Every city of Arlathan had one, apparently.

Morrigan must have found a different one.

yes but Merill said it was the mirror who killed one of her clan and hurted another one, forcing him to join the Grey Wardens, that's the Dalish Elf origin. and in Witch Hunt I went back to the same broken BUT WORKING one to detect Morrigan who found another one in Amaranthine.

Basically, that mirror was in 2 different places at once...

The timelines doesn't completely match up. The one merril has is the one featured in the dalish origin story, and she didnt bring it on a ship. She brought it with her when the clan moved close to kirkwall.
The same mirror is the one used in witch hunt to find a working one. And it is this other working one that the warden and morrigan walks through.

However, witch hunt and act 1 happens at the same time as far as I can tell, so the mirror is technically in 2 places at once at that point.

I think Act I happens before WH, but the DAO timeline is so unorganized, who knows.

iirc, the mirror in Witch Hunt was shattered and in pieces.  You only retrieved a single shard of it for the quest.

The mirror in Merrill's house doesn't show up until three years after the end of the Blight, which leaves plenty of time for the Warden to get his shard and Merrill to come back through afterwards and collect what she can.

Of course, it's a long trip to Fereldan and back to collect the mirror, but I can't see it being brought to Kirkwall in any other fashion.  There's no way that the tribe would have allowed her to keep the thing, so it must have been put back together after she'd already joined the Champion.

Merrill's eluvian is the one from the Dalish Elf Origin. Morrigan's a different one. How Merrill actually brought it back and put it together was never really explained. (I think. If it is someone please correct me.) I know the blood magic helped her rid it of the taint, but that's all we're really told. She must have left some pieces of it behind in the ruins that our Warden finds in Witch Hunt.

thanks for further explanations. But we still conclude to something : the timeline is broken ! does that make Witch Hunt non-canon ?!?
