Since I updated sheep and stone I now need to do the same for The Caravan Club. The lakeside area needs to be updated to have all the changes I put in sheep and stone plus I have some other ideas to help the gameplay and address some of the comments I have recieved.

This update is small in comparison to S&S partly because it is newer and partly because it needed less work.

I have one new sidequest though which takes place over three new areas adding around 25 minutes of gameplay.

The bulk of the work is done, I have a few other balancing issues to take care of but another week or two should see these ironed out. By then I hope to have The Last Days of the Raven ready for release two weeks later.

I have left you with some screenies of the new areas.

I wonder if we can hire a pedal boat.

Don't. They are always overpriced and they splash water on your plate mail.

I will have to set aside some time to play through the new Sheep and Stone and Caravan Club. Nice work, as always.

Thanks and please do play them, Sheep and stone is much changed at this update. Caravan club less so but the new opening and hidden areas make it fresh I think. It is also, I believe, better balanced.

Thanks, the crystals come with a base but it is flat and thus a pain on any surface that is not flat. to get roung that issue I used snow texture 3 round the crystal base then coloured it with the same colour as I tinted the crystal. Add a little light (again in the same think though lighter) and the effect is quite good.

With new areas, the player has more xp and loot. Have things been rebalanced to account for this?

In a small way you are playing it now. Your Caravan Club final bic file is my last playtest PC, two runs through with that and I am done .

Thanks, that is appreciated Posted Image

I think so, from comments I have had  a level up was needed earlier in Caravan Club anyway, that now happens provided you are moderately investigative with respect to side quests etc. I have cut back the loot a little as I found playtest characters coming into Last Days of the Raven had a lot of equipment to sell.

This. It is an a well crafted and fun chapter. And it sounds like the next will be even better.

I am inclined to agree the loot needed to be paired down in Caravan Club. I don't generally comment on such things as it is a matter of taste but I do think it was a good move.
