Hello all,
I have some questions about how Tactics work, exactly. Specifically, I'm curious about the "Wait" action as well as the "Use current condition for next tactic".
For the "Wait" action, how long does the character wait? Will the tactics continue to cycle down the list after the wait period is over? My guess is that the tactic should be used in a manner similar to the following example.
(Party has two mages, both with the Heal spell. This tactic pair would be used by the secondary healer, should the primary healer's spell be on cooldown.)
Ally: Health < 25% -- Wait
Ally: Health < 25% -- Heal
As for the "Use current condition for the next tactic", I'm curious if this action will cause both conditions (this, and the one that follows) to be used in a logical AND (&&), a logical OR (||) or something else completely. Understanding exactly how the two conditions are applied will help a great deal.
Thanks for the feedback and information.

Ok, this is a shameless bump, but I'm honestly very interested in answers to these questions if anyone out there knows anything, please reply.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Not sure about Wait but I think Use Current condition must be an AND, since if you want an OR you can just use two normal tactics (ie, if you wanted enemy: health >90 OR enemy: Staggered DO Something then you can just have one tactic for [health >90] --> Something and one right after for [staggered] --> Something.)

Thanks for the reply.
I'm still really curious about the Wait action, and since no one seems to know anything about it, I'm going to make a couple saves and test it out. I'll post here with my observations.

Wait is basically a "don't continue while this is true" action. Anything you put after it is ignored until the Wait condition *fails*. I use it to deactivate my sustained modes, like:
Enemy: at least 1 alive -> Wait
Self: Any -> Deactivate Arcane Shield
That will deactivate Arcane Shield when the first condition fails, i.e. there's no enemies left alive. Works well in most cases, though it does lower your defenses if the only enemies left are rogues who are stealthed, which fools the tactics into thinking there's no one alive, so be careful.
