The OP has the same opinions as me...even if his argument is exceptionally abrassive

I'll back you up dude, i'm starting think the first act is TOO LONG lol.
Seriously I WANNA GO TO THE DEEP ROADS!
But they have a point, no need to get so hyped up, alot of people have manned for what they said earlier. So far, i only really know one idiot who listened to the people and returned his game without playing it. What a douche.

What a heaping crock of fanboistic crap. I mostly agree with you and still think you're the gum on the bottom of my shoe.

personally loved the game. Two things: Please keep the voice acting! and a little more environment diversity but the game rocked.

I agree with the OP, people who hate DA2 and ME2 are stuck in the past.
I play all Bioware games for the well written story and characters so i don't really mind the gameplay changes.

I may disagree with a few of your points, but I have to say this is a good -- if somewhat hard -- game.

I like DAII, I really do, and I don't get why people don't like it, either, but calling them retarded isn't going to make them look at the game differently.

Maybe it is the re-used assets, hollow characters, and glitchy game? We are paying customers, they are still in business thanks to us, their loyal fans. We have every right to express our utter disappointment in what they call a sequel.

DA2 is the best modern rpg, freed from the self imposed PC limitations available. This is truly a masterpiece of modern gaming and storytelling. This game will stand the test of time, and be a benchmark signalling the end of PC controlled rpg gaming.

It's one thing to give your thoughts and positions on what you "think" the game is to you. It is totally another to make a mass flame post against those who have a big dislike for the direction went from that of Origins. Yiou came across as nothing more than posting a rant against some anti-Bioware demons with namecalling, while also (as clearly shown with this latest reply of yours) coming across as nothing more than a sycophant. Bioware is perfectly able to stand up for themselves.

I like the game as well, but your post oozes stupidity and I think you are a bit butthurt and should maybe take your Midol.

People can trash this game for all sorts of reasons. The question remains as to whether or not their complaints are valid. Alot of complaints generate from retconing something or the the 'story sucks' argument which are obviously incorrect arguments to make. It's not our business to tell the storyteller how to tell the story. Either like it and patronize the product or dislike it and don't.
Alot of other arguments stem from technical things like recycled content, by this I mean maps. This is pretty valid I think. Nothing says lazy or profit squeezing quite like recycled content. This was a conscious decision on the part of the developers to throw the same 20 maps at us over and over again. It's not like this was accidental. It's mildly excusable for the player who ignores side quests and doesn't care much for re-playability. It's a killer for completionists. The major slap in the face to this issue is, if you are no stranger to the forums, the largest outcry on almost ALL DLC that came out for DA:O was the lack of fresh content, just recycled maps with somewhat different mobs in them. Not only was this issue not addressed but they had the audacity to include it in the core game which says the developers really aren't trying to learn from their critics...at least not to the point where it is worth addressing at the price of profits. This also speaks very badly for whatever DLC and expansions are in the works since, more than likely, they will have me running up and down the same patch of coastline for the 57th time.
"The game is LONG. The amount of sidequests in the first act alone amounts to more than the whole of any game ever made by Bethesda."
^That is wrong. Painfully wrong. I agree that the game is of appropriate length but to spout nonsense like that is just hurting your case.

I like the game as well and but there are some problems with it that they didn't have in the first game and I feel could have been taken care of if they hadn't tried to rush the game out. Now I'm all for stick up for a game you like but saying that everyone who doesn't like is is a "cry baby emo" is not the right way to do it, they spend money on a product that they thought would be better then it is( I for one am one of the people who think DA:O was miles above this but still enjoy the game). You sir are not helping and honestly are just as bad as the trolls with how you are trying to get your point across, everyone has an opinion and if you paid $60 for the game you should be alwoed to complain a little because this is like ordering steak and getting ribs, still damn good but not what you were looking for or wanted.
