Couldn't find what I was looking for and was hoping someone can help. I just bought DA2 but am halfway through a playthrough in DAO so I'm going to finish that first.

That said.  Has anyone compiled a list of the choices that are effected?
I supponse my biggest question would be... are there NPC's or characters that show up in 2 if you keep them alive.... like do you get to see Leliana or Wynn? that sort of thing.

From what i've seen in my first game and saw on this forum. Yes and no.
Zevran show up in a quest and in the final battle, even if he was killed by the warden (bug)
Lelianna appear in the ending
In dao my Wynn lived but never appeared, same for sten or oghren.
There is also a few minor character appearence like the Howes (awakening i think)

Nathaniel and Delilah Howe made appearances, they're from Awakening.
Alistair's appearance is definitely heavily affected by however it turns out in Origins
You can talk to Leliana if you get the DLC otherwise you'll see her in passing in the ending I believe. What happened to her in Origins doesn't really matter

In my DA:O, I helped the Dwarf who wasn't lord Harrowmont (don't remember his name). Harrowmont turned up in my DA2 for a little while and gave me a quest, so keep that in mind. Probably works both ways though.
