Problem #1:
Some of my companions (like Fenris, Varric and Merril) have abilites on their bar that shows a picture of a padlock, and has a tooltip that just says 'Locked'. Most of them are abilites I selected for them when they leveled up, but Varric and Fenris both had one ability that was locked when I finished their recruitment. While it appears as though the abilites are still *usable*, it leaves me a little lost when/if I have to take control of a character for some reason.
Problem#2:
My Hawke has leveled up high enough to gain a Specialization point. When I select one of them however, like Specialiast for example, it won't unlock any of the abilites associated with that 'tree'. And each of the abilites says I need a level of 99 to unlock.
I am running a physical install of the Signature Edition if that matters. Any and all help would be highly appreciated. I hope I'm not posting something already fixed, but apparently my search function is borked since I can't find it, and I didn't see anything like this even after going back 15 pages.

FIXED: I installed the Beta Patch, and loaded a previous save. After doing so, both issues above seemed to resolve themselves. And yes, this ended up being double posted. My apologies.
