I'm just going to get right into it. Alot of flaming, arguing, etc.
Well...here's why DA2 is better. Now, a little disclaimer, no spoilers (or crazy ones anyways...and we're gonna disregard the bugs that the game has.)

Story - Yeah, it's super different from Origins...but people, there is a HUGE overlying matter that is addressed here. If you claim that DA2 had NO story, then you clearly missed it. Plus, it took place over ten years, and in my opinion this realism contributed to a very satisfying plot that dealt with certain matters in a mature and tasteful way. The story has its place...and I'm going to be bold to say that this game will stand as a foundation for an extremely dire conflict that has been  expected for awhile now.

Characters - DA2's characters are absolutely mind-blowing. Seriously, not only can you become friends with them, but they can become friends with EACHOTHER! I felt super connected to them after the whole thing was over...and the whole ten year gap thing factored in nicely with that. Also, the party banter helped BIG TIME to learn more about each person in your company. All of the joking/witty comments/ deep matters that were shared contributed to making these characters truly memorable.

Dialogue - voiced character was better...think of a video game as a movie, though more a mesh of a book and a movie. Just sit back, relax, open your mind a little bit, and really enjoy the show. It's called roleplaying for a reason...however, sometimes you can't pick every aspect of a game or specific medium...though, with a little imagination, you'll realize that the voice goes perfectly with any character. Also, dialogue wheel was so much more entertaining. Kept a nice clean look on the screen, and even offered a visual to you complainers of "ambiguity" regarding the wheel. So, you really couldn't get responses wrong.

Music - It was stunning. Honestly, certain places (Hanged Man) were absolutely atmospheric. I actually downloaded these songs.  So many other songs were amazing as well...Fenris song was probably the best though. I mean, I completely skipped him my first playthrough which was surprising for me, because I'm usually thorough, but when I heard his music playing as I talked to him...WOW. Best music for a character in a long long time.

I know it's lengthy...but, it's true. Too much flaming going on, so I figured I would post how I and surely many many others feel about this miraculous game.
