we know rogue is the best for dual wield ... but i saw some screenshot with a human berseker in dual wield ... did you think they lost lot of dmg because they need to focus str and dex at the same time ?
i plan to play a dwarf and i love the idea of dual wield axe like slayer in Warhammer !! but i dont want to do crappy dmg hehe ! and the rogue the best all know is dagger !! so what you think about it ?
what you think about a berseker dual wield

A dual-wield Berserker should do fine. You would not have the option of choosing talents under the Dual-Wield tree if it completely sucked for warriors. Your guy will also be tougher and cooler looking than most rogues. ;-)

I don't think it will be a problem. Warriors have access to the same dual wield talents are Rogues.

I am going dual wield for warrior class, we just have to wait and see how it pan's out in the end. over all I do not think it will be a problem.

I'm gonna have a dual wield warrior also, not sure where it was established that rogues are best for it but i've said from day 1 im going warrior dual wield and even if a bio rep comes on this thread and says rogues are better for dual wield(im not implying that they have before) i'd still go warrior .
But as far as beserker is concerned im not sure, i havnt exactly picked the specs i was going with because non of them seemed dual wield-ish

I see no reason as to why dual-wield would be worse to warriors than to rogues.

has it been confirmed that you can only have a dagger in the off hand until dual weapon mastery? or are there other small weapons like a light hammer or hand axe that you could use?
I really want to have a dwarven warrior dual wielding but I would only want to use hammers or axes.

i dont know... i guess if you dual wield 2 normal weapon without dual weapon mastery you'll get malus to hit...

Sorry for my ignorance, but has there been any real confirmation that DEX only boosts dagger-type weapons & STR is for one-handed swords/maces/axes?

I like the idea of a dual-wielding berserker. I was considering it myself.

Im going to try out a Dwarf zerker I think it could be fun. Not really worried about leaving damage on the table there are other pure DPS characters to chose from for your party.

The Rogue gets a specialization bonus to dual wield I think.

A backstabbing two-handed greatsword wielding rogue can beat those berserkers any day!
