Ok so I loved this game, It was awesome and apart from the annoying bugs which im sure will be fixed in a future patch.. I just have one complaint about this game.. Something that annoyed the hell out of me.

The amount of enemies in EVERY single fight.. Theres like bloody 50 of them, its frustrating as all hell how they keep coming. It would have been much better to just make a smaller amount of enemies stronger with more health etc. I mean they keep jumping out of nowhere. I walk out of the area thinking Ive won the fight. Start heading far from it to continue on. But OH WAIT. Theres still bloody enemies jumping down. It really got on my nerves. lol

Hey...
Well, that was kinda awkward indeed :P
But it was okay. Kinda sattisfying crushing mass enemies with wirlwind with my two handed sword :P
I really liked the combat system. New enemies coming all the time was just a part of that ;)

I didn't have a problem with it. What bugged me was sometimes enemies would spawn that ran away or managed to get themselves on the farside of a map.

It's because they didn't make big dungeons so they had to have waves.

It's a refreshing change here, after DA:O i was tired of fighting 6+ mobs and that being the end of it.

If you are having difficulty with the amount of enemy spawns then go to Options and change your game to "Casual" or "Normal" ... get out of Nightmare (thats MY world! Mr. Andersen! MY World!)

Nah, I agree. I loved DA2 like cake or kittens. I didn't mind a million enemies, persay, but I did mind them SPAWNING and SPAWNING and SPAWNING. It made it really hard to strategically plan out the fights when five shades spawn on Anders, way out of range of Fenris's taunt, and mow him down almost immediately.

Played on Hard because Normal was too easy, but damn if that didn't make me want to switch it down, sometimes.

Hope this gets changed for DA3, it was the only thing in DA2 I didn't like :D

At first it was fun to blow everything up and all, but later the waves of enemies just got boring and a bit annoying, however in the endgame I pretty much enjoyed my godly rogue two shotting everyone... Still, the combat is good but that's the drawback, the waves of enemies feels unnatural

Actually waves of enemies do require tactical thinking - you have to anticipate them and always have ways of containing them/preserving your mages. So it's actually a good idea, a step towards making the game more tactics-oriented.

Unfortunately, there is one universal solution that makes it almost repetitive: trigger battle, pull back, inscribe a glyph of repulsion or paralysis in front of your ranged attackers, have your melee mow stuff down. Works every time. Other tactics are only needed for boss fights.

I heard the summoning of reinforcements was a callback from Baldurs gate.

Im not having difficulty.. Its just really really annoying the amount of mobs that keep eventually spawning..
