I am unable to kill the Gate Guardian during the Knight-Commander Merideth battle event. The Guardian remains at 1% health and doesn't die. I'd like a fix to this ASAP or any ideas since I would like to finish the game already.

I don't know if this will help, but I encountered that on a spider. No amount of damage would kill it. But as soon as I threw a Pummel Strike on it (a stun) it died.
Have you tried some stuns or deathblows or something?

mmh I had it a while on the same monster. I think it was so cause it was stunned/rooted, something like petrify, but after a while it died at last
